Condesa

We chose Hotel Condesa in northern Mallorca because, on paper, it seemed to fulfil all our requirements: it sits directly on the beach, is not too large, is in a very good location, about an hour from the airport, and offers all-inclusive accommodation at a very reasonable price. The only apparent downside was the outdoor pool, which is not heated and therefore did not seem particularly tempting for April. We rented a car as well, planning to make several trips around the island. It turned out to be a wonderful week. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every respect. Our room on the fourth floor was absolutely fine, with a terrific view. The food was excellent, with a huge choice of everything: meat, fish, vegetables, pizzas and desserts, as well as themed dinners featuring food from different parts of Europe and the world. The bar served first-class branded drinks, and there were never any annoying queues. And then there was the beach, which was just fabulous. There is only a glass wall separating the hotel grounds from the sand and the beautiful sea. We were lucky enough to have plenty of warm weather during the last week of April, and the sea itself was warm enough to swim in. All in all, it was an unforgettable week, and Hotel Condesa proved to be an excellent choice. I am attaching a dozen photos, one of which has the names of the wonderful staff at the bar, who contributed so much to making not just every evening, but every day so happy. We would pass by for a glass of Cava on the way to the pool, back from the pool, on the way to the beach, back from the beach, on the way to dinner, back from dinner… and somehow there was always another reason to stop and say hello.

Review of Condesa Hotel, Playa de Muro I’ll start with the negatives, as hopefully these points may give the hotel and future guests a few things to consider. The biggest issue for us was the amount of smoking around the pool bar, the bar where you queue for drinks, and the evening entertainment area. If you’re a non-smoker, it can be quite unpleasant, particularly for families. At other hotels we’ve stayed in, smoking areas have been kept away from the main entertainment and social areas, which seemed to work well and was generally accepted by everyone. You also have to walk through these smoking areas when going to the pool, which we didn’t find particularly pleasant. Unfortunately, the food in the restaurants was cold on quite a few occasions, with breakfast being the worst for this. The service also wasn’t as good as we would have expected, particularly in the evenings. Quite often, when you sat down, nobody came over to offer drinks, and it could be difficult to get the attention of the staff. Normally, staff seem to have their own areas to look after, whereas here they appeared to be spread around, which perhaps made the service less organised. On to the positives! The hotel itself is very clean, and the pool and pool areas were spotless. The location is fantastic, being right on the beach, which is a real highlight. Sorry for focusing on the negatives, but hopefully this feedback will give people a few things to discuss and consider, especially if you’re travelling as a family or are non-smokers. My wife and I spent our 10th Wedding Anniversary at Condesa September 15th - 25th 2026. We are regular visitors and there are many reasons for this continued trend! The location is amazing, the atmosphere is always friendly and the staff are always very welcoming too many to mention as it is a fantastic team. The rooms are very smart and comfortable and with daily cleaning nothing is too much for anyone to expect. As for value for money no-one can do anymore than stay All Inclusive with amazing food and drinks on offer daily. We would highly recommend to all.

Yet another wonderful stay at the Condesa. Although many staff changes from previous years, the hotel is still welcoming and friendly. Ines is an amazing Manager ensuring the Bar and Dining room run smoothly. She is very kind and helpful. A special mention also for Sergio a night time receptionist who is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the hotel and area. We received unsettling news during our stay and he showed professionalism, compassion and kindness when we needed it most, nothing was too much trouble. He offered help and support at a difficult time. He really is a credit to the hotel and deserves recognition for the way he respects and treats his guests. People remember the places they visit but it the staff like Sergio and Ines who make the stay special - thank you.

This is a review for the sky bar not the hotel which we have been to in the past. It used to be nice to go up to the sky bar and look at the view. Then look at the list of cocktails. Prices. Then order. Now it has been taken over by very rude and obnoxious people. There was 8 of us. Wanted at least 2 cocktails each on the visit. Rude man said sit down I come. Glaring at you if you went to the bar. He was so bad we walked out . 15 euros a cocktail they lost out. Isabella restaurant further up the beach was great for cocktails half the price.
