Es Port

Es Port is an absolute gem of a hotel. Just by chance 10 years ago we walked up the steps to the hotel and knew we had found something very special. The façade of the hotel is beautiful, especially at night, and is steeped in history but with excellent services and facilities. A beautiful hotel complex that enchants you as soon as you enter the building. We cannot fault the hotel at all. The hotel’s staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly, bedrooms and bathrooms are more than adequate and kept immaculately clean, the surrounding grounds are all wonderful and the breakfast, well, we have never seen such choice and quality. Everything in the hotel is very well maintained with great furnishings. Es Port is situated in a beautiful position. Off the sometimes busy roads of Port de Soller and once you enter its grounds you could be in another world. The grounds are very extensive with palm trees, pomegranate trees, beautiful plants. grassed areas and hidden areas with comfortable chairs where you can sit and enjoy the peace, quiet and remarkable views. Apart from all the above there are two beautiful swimming pools, a Spa, a Gym and Tennis Courts. We have just returned home after our 9th visit in as many years and are looking forward to visiting next year to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Well done Es Port and thank you to all the staff.

Our third visit in as many years. We just love this hotel, and Port de Soller. It’s not pretentious like many top quality hotels, and we’ve stayed in a lot of 4-5 star hotels, in the past. We’ve been back a day, and we’ve booked again for the same week, next year. The hotel’s staff, rooms, grounds, breakfast, and the wonderful pool area, are all fantastic. The fact that it’s off the town’s main thoroughfare, is a bonus. Port de Soller does get busy in the day, with the daily influx of holidaymakers visiting on the beautiful trams. From 8.00pm., the town is just pleasantly busy, with only the local hotels’ residents. You’re spoilt for choice where restaurants are concerned. From typical Spanish tapas and paella restaurants, to swanky establishments offering international cuisine, you won’t be left wanting. I would recommend the beautiful Es port Hotel, and Port de Soller, but shush, don’t tell everyone! 😉

Overall a beautiful rustic hotel with spacious grounds. A very good size pool with plenty of sunbeds and shade spots. Breakfast was very good selection with outside terrace seating and inside air conditioned. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent. We had a minor issue in our room, we had an immediate response and all was rectified within 10 minutes. The position is perfect for popping to Port Soller and the harbour. This hotel could be a 5 star with some easy tweaks. What lets the hotel down……the evening meals disappointing. The poor management of the pool area could be much better. There was one male attendee who was proactive in sorting out left towels on bed, bad behaviour etc. residents of the hotel are bringing in friends and relatives from other hotels in the area using the facilities. There were a few days when sunbeds immediately by the pool were in short supply. Non residents are easily identified by not having the hotels towels. The hotel does not allow non residents to use the facilities. The hotel is set high up so there are many levels to negotiate if mobility is an issue. Hotel has lifts. Upgrade to 5 stars would be to improve evening meals, have porters, pool drinks service. Pillow menu. Would I stay again……YES!

We had a wonderful stay at Es Port Hotel in Port de Sóller, where we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel is full of character and charm, and the stunning grounds offer a photo opportunity at every turn. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were exceptional — professional, yet incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. The bar and waiting staff were fantastic, while the hardworking housekeeping team kept the hotel and grounds spotless. Es Port was the perfect setting for such a special occasion, and we left with truly wonderful memories.

The hotel in my view is a close 5* and I am not sure why it isn't ! I can not fault the hotel at all - beautiful manor house and not spoilt at all with ugly modernisation (but it di have all the mod cons) -grounds impressive and all the staff so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is certainly one of the best I have stayed in. We were in room 109 so one of the new buildings -we had a large outside area with a table , chairs and 2 sunbeds and could relax looking up at the palm trees. I will miss my evening margheritas in the lovely bar area (both inside and outside) I especially liked the buzzer on the outside tables so you didn't have to wait too long for service -that was a thoughtful touch.. Breakfast was plentiful , lots of choice and delicious . We liked to lounge by the spa /inside pool area as there were plenty of beds and very relaxing to lie under the shade of an olive tree looking at the lemon trees. We ate in the main restaurant twice -very good value. The staff made it for us , as they were so friendly , everyone always said hola /bon dias. A lovely week.
