Europe Playa Marina - Adults Only

The hotel we had booked was closing for a major refurbishment so with some reluctance, due to indifferent reviews, accepted a transfer to this hotel. We had an excellent experience. Food, facilities, room with sea view balcony all first class. The only slight downside was on arrival the lady on reception was not the most welcoming person you would wish for to make a good first impression. All other staff were professional and friendly.

We are regular customers and for good reason. The hotel has probably the best location in Illetas, with a substantial terrace with direct access to the sea and importantly full sunshine till early evening. The service throughout is excellent and the breakfast certainly one of the best I’ve enjoyed! The restaurant by the pool is so good it makes no sense going anywhere else in the resort. Having its own kitchen there are a huge variety of dishes prepared freshly from snacks to fine dining and open most of the afternoon as well as the evening . I cannot recommend this hotel and it’s staff highly enough.

Great hotel, stunning views, and great access direct in to the sea for a swim. Brilliant location. I was here for 4 nights and found some great bars and restaurants within 10 min walk, you just need to look as there often hidden down steps to the beach etc. Great beach bar at Cala Comtesa, stunning views/drinks/food at Balneario (mid range), fish at Escama (high end), cheap eats at Petit Jardin....all within 10 mins, just turn left out the hotel door! Bus in to Palma every 10/15 mins, or the other way to explore the marina and super yachts at Portal Nous. Did the train/tram to Puerta Soller which was great fun. All in all, a great place to spend 4 nights.

There was black mold in the vents and my entire group got black mold poisoning. We could barely sleep. We felt extremely sick every day and we continue to have a horrible cough. Unlike any we had. Ever had Before Even After leaving the hotel. I was so happy to leave. I would never come back here. One member of our party is an asthmatic with a mold allergy. So she was affected. Especially terribly. If you have any health issues. Avoid this resort at all costs.

Lovely hotel for a solo traveller. It has a calm and safe feel to it. The breakfast is a highlight, especially the omlette bar run expertly by a friendly and efficient chef. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and there are steps into the sea, which was like a warm bath! For those looking for something more lively, you can catch the bus to Palma a hop step and a jump away from reception. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the bathroom in my room had a glass wall. Not a problem for me as a solo traveller this time but I would hesitate to come back if sharing the room.
