Globales Don Pedro

We were very disappointed on arrival the receptionist was very abrupt and impatient, giving us a lots of information very quickly, and when I asked her to repeat what she said she was not helpful. The food that evening was cold and not visually appealing, we complained the next morning and was told they would speak to the kitchen. The next morning breakfast was cold and unappealing this continued with us complaining and little improvement. The room had spilts in the plaster and no ventilation in the bathroom causing damp odour. We had rain and a storm whilst there and the bedroom floor flooded substantially, we had to put towels down to soak up the rain from the patio doors this was at 2am, the guy at reception gave us more towels to soak up the water. We complained further and we were offered to move rooms but when we saw the room it also had rain leaking in from the patio and the damp smell was worse. The food in the buffet did not improve much except for the freshly cooked omelette and usually there was a queue for this. This was the chef who has returned to Argentina. When the hotel receives complait it is not unreasonable to expect things to improve, I know it is near the end of the season but not the money we paid it was not goog enough. We have also complained to easy jet.

This was our third stay at Globales Don Pedro, and we continue to be very satisfied. The hotel is beautifully located, offering spectacular views and easy access to nearby coves and mountain trails. We particularly appreciate the quiet surroundings, which create a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are always kind, professional, and cheerful, making every stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would happily recommend this hotel and hope to return again.

Location of the hotel is its strongest point - overlooking the sea in the beautiful Cala San Vincenc. We had a sea view room and it was so wonderful to wake up to such a beautiful sight. The staff were really lovely and we found the communal areas clean and well presented. Our room was a little tired with various small disrepairs (minor) but a pervading damp smell (some walls clearly were, or had been, damp). We stayed half board and found the drinks to be good, with a wide range of choices, bartender made cocktails and very well priced. We were off season and I do wonder how a small external bar would cope with school holiday levels of sundeck users. The hotel has a great rooftop sundeck and plunge pool with fabulous views. The downside is the food- some of the worse I have experienced in many years of coming to similar graded hotels in Majorca (bland, overcooked, seemingly sauces out of a jar, carrots from a tin, that horrible fake cream in making deserts etc. - more like school dinners) Just no imagination. Nowhere near a 4*. We were end of season so maybe the chefs had gone home or were exhausted. Shame, as we enjoyed our stay and it’s such an amazing spot. Lovely walks in the hills around and bushes to Pollença and the port are frequent and lovely day to catch.

We have never stayed in a hotel with such mixed reviews. The location is fabulous and the views stunning. Hotel is very relaxed and the view from our balcony gorgeous. Food mixed breakfast good but please add hash browns. Evening meal mixed some nights better than others. Hotel is very clean always spotless. Beds comfortable and lovely big shower. Most of the staff are doing an excellent job always happy and helpful. Please note you cant get in your room until 2pm which is frustrating having to wait around if you arrive before then. Aircon almost non existent in rooms. Evening entertainment too loud. The goats visiting morning and evening are a pleasure to watch. All in all a relaxing break in a stunning location.

Great location, amazing views, right on the beach. Close to several shops, restaurants, bus stop and taxi on request. Food choice and availability good.
