Didn't expect much for the price as we wanted a cheap and cheerful 4 nights away but have to say we were blown away. The hotel is lovely, you can understand why there are many returning guests - when you walk though reception it's spotlessly clean and the smell, you can understand why they sell Spanish cleaning products here - it felt high end. It's not a massive hotel but they have different blocks, luckily we were given 1306 which overlooked the pool and the sea just in the distance, the rooms are again clean and spacious but the bathrooms need a refurb but I think Global have just taken this hotel over so might be on the cards. The beds are strange, metal frame so they can raise to clean underneath which squeek but the matress is so comfy, didn't have a problem sleeping at all. The restaurant is the usual buffet affair, basic but always found something lovely to eat - the fish was always fresh and there was always some speciality meat dish. I'm normally a dessert person but found the fondant cream type thing they used was not to our taste but there was always fresh fruit and Ice Creams. The bar has 2 tiers so you can be all inclusive and super inclusive! We were all inc and the beer is Mahou Classic and the Gin and Tonic was very palatable indeed(!) The barman looks liked he needed cheering up but I think this was his natural resting face - we did see him cracking a smile (honestly). We walked into Cala Millor a couple of times, there is a bus but we didn't use it and the other way upto Sa Marjal to see the beached yatch, it was all flat and accessible. Just a note as well - take mosquito repellant I was eaten alive but there is a farmacy in Cala Bona behind the Music Bar

This is a lovely bright modern simple hotel. We arrived around 2am and check-in process was quick and easy. We were allocated a junior suite in block B on the first floor. It was a south facing corner room with double aspect and side pool view which was lovely. Room was large, bright and spacious and I think had been fairly recently decorated. We had twin beds and I believe there were 2 foldaway beds underneath. The room was plenty big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. There was a sofa area and a wee table with 2 chairs. Large flatscreen TV was also on the wall and the bonus was a few UK TV channels so we were able to keep up to date with BBC news and breakfast! Bathroom in our room was a bath with shower over. Not the most powerful shower but always hot water available! Room has a small fridge plus a kettle too which was great for early morning coffees in the room before heading for breakfast. Also good was the safe in the room which you didn't have to pay for here. Breakfast was a good buffet selection - cold meats and cheeses, cereals, sausages, bacon, eggs 2 ways (made to order if requested) hash browns, pancakes, churros, fresh fruit, pastries. We were very happy with the choice and quality of the food offered. We didn't try lunch or dinner, but half board and all inclusive were offered at this hotel. Pool was decent - just one main pool and small kids pool although we didn't try these out as we were out elsewhere most days. Plenty sunbeds available any time we passed by. There was some entertainment around the pool area although because it's coming to the end of the season I think it was winding down a little. Evening entertainment also offered. There's 2 pool tables and a table-tennis table. I also spotted a small children's climbing frame / playground area. Location is on the north edge of Cala Bona and we felt it was perfect. Easy access towards Cala Bona via the gate at the back of the hotel rather than exiting through reception. Several buses leave from right outside the hotel (to Airport, Porto Cristo amongst others). We would happily return. It's a lovely clean bright hotel and staff are friendly. Good value for money.

Visited here with my husband this month, we had a lovely stay at this hotel, we wanted to chill out for the week and that's exactly what we did. Staff were friendly, others more friendlier than others tbh. The hotel was spotless clean, nice & modern also, there were activities on throughout the day that they announced over a microphone and entertainment on every night which was fab. We stayed in room 1205 above the pool area and it was lovely, it got the sun each morning. There is a kettle and fridge in the room & we brought our own iron. The room was spacious and the beds were so comfy, had a great sleep for the 7 days here. The hotel is cash free, which I didn't know until arriving, I thought this was a bit strange as you cant pay cash for drinks, but late on the 2nd day a waitress told me to go to reception, they will upload cash to my wrist key and you pay for drinks from that so you give reception the cash, we just asked them what the total left was if we were unsure. This worked well but would have been nice to have been told this on arrival having brough euros with us. We stayed half board which I was more than happy with, breakfast & dinner included, I did ask if we could switch dinner to a lunch option as there is no bar snacks available at this hotel but you could only do this one time. You have to pay €22.50 each for the lunch buffet, we did this on arrival as we were hungry but then the remaining days we went out or had ate enough breakfast that we weren't really hungry until dinner time as we had snacks in the room. I did enquire about upgrading to all inclusive but didn't think it was worth it at €35 per day per person, especially in October when the hotel wasn't as busy and not a lot of drinks are actually included in the all inclusive, limited choice and you have to pay extra for everything else. There was also a snack station for all inclusive but heard so many complain as the food seemed to have been there a long time, stale sandwiches / fruit etc. There is a supermarket across the road, just go out the gate at the pool area, go across the road into the hotel and downstairs, this was great for the basics but found it quite expensive. There are no other supermarkets close by, you have to walk the coastal path into Cala Bona, which is only a 10 min walk and a nice dander at that, we did this many times and walked back from Cala Millor also, stopping at a few pubs on the way back. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but it was lovely and chilled. There is a shuttle bus that runs everyday apart from Sunday and stops 1-3pm each day also for siesta finishing at 6.45pm each night. The bus drops you into Cala Bona, a short 5 min journey away and collects you also, this is a fab service. Buses also run constantly from the hotel, again out the gate where the pool is, the 425 takes you to Cala Bona, Cala Millor & possibly Sa Coma, so handy. We got a taxi back sometimes if we missed the shuttle and didn't want to stand around in the heat, taxi ranks are everywhere and its only around €5-€6 back to hotel. We also visited the market at Son Servera on the Friday, this was lovely, lots of fresh baked goods, clothes, jewellery and beautiful sites. It was a lovely little place with bars, restaurants but you need to get there early though as it packs up really fast. You can haggle with all the stalls, we got some lovely bargains. The taxi to here cost €9 and on the way back the line for the taxi rank was quite long, we jumped on a bus back into Cala Millor and walked back to the hotel from there. I absolutely loved Majorca and will definitely go back, if you are looking for a chilled out break then I do recommend this hotel and Cala Bona. Cala Bona is lovely down at the harbor, you can have a lovely lunch there and the walk from the hotel is really good, its all flat and you can take your time. All in all, this was a lovely break at the Globales Isabel.

Our 6th or 7th time at the hotel as a family and in our opinion they've let a few things slide . The food this year was terrible in terms of the selection we found compared to previous years when they would have themed nights etc which were always tip top and a welcome addition. Little things like no welcome drink on arrival , having to now PAY extra if you wanted a large beer and also the best cocktails are now an extra cost? ..They used to bring all the staff out on stage aswell during the day to introduce them which either I missed or they don't do? Just little things like that which felt so personal . It also seems they've cut the nighttime entertainment budget as well . There was a few things on but nothing on past years. The good things about this hotel which you'll still find are the fantastic staff ( especially ALEX AND JESSICA ) . Alex is a brilliant entertainer annd makes our day with the events he puts on. A shout out to KRIS as well who was great this year . and always makes our holiday . Jessica is lovely . So friendly and welcoming Also , the people you meet here . We've met some great people everytime whom most we still keep in touch with . Would we go back? Definitely. Is it still the value for money it used to be . Probably not

Hotel in a quiet residential area with no bars around. 20 minutes walk into Cala Bona which is a lovely safe resort. Rooms ok however not private balconies at all as only a small wall separating them. Snack bar non existent very dry curled up sandwiches. Main food in the restaurant was very repetitive and we had pork every night for 10 days. Breakfast was by far the best. No problems getting sunbeds but a bit close. Still enjoyed our holiday as everyone was friendly.
