We had an amazing time on holiday here! There were 6 adults and 2 children. The entertainment team provided entertainment for all ages throughout the day and night. The kids throughly enjoyed the mini disco. The food was good and lots of choice. The kids swimming pool was excellent for all ages!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at Globales Maioris. However, I think it's helpful to point out what we really enjoyed and what we thought could be improved. Arrival/check in Strange set up and we noticed inconsistency. We arrived at 11am and check in isn't until 2pm. Asked if room was ready early and could be...for a price. A bit money hungry for a chain hotel so we chose to check in at 2pm. Room Highly recommend block 2 as it's far away enough from the entertainment areas but close to everything. Room was immaculate, well furnished and large. Usual range of foreign and limited UK channels but that doesn't bother us. Plenty of space and storage but lacking a vanity mirror. Shower was great, waterfall style with good pressure and heat. Included toiletries nice but limited. Air conditioning very effective but started rattling two days before departure, reported to reception who did issue maintenance to fix but never did get resolved. Food and drink Quality varied but variety was absolutely there. Lots of options particularly for the evening meal with a different theme each night that never felt repetitive. Hot options very good, freshly made pizza and more variety in desserts than usual. Drinks where the usual mixed bag at this level. Beer and sangria enjoyable, Bellini cocktails the only cocktail that wasn't pre made and sugary without spending. The paid for cocktails are much better but there was enough variety that we didn't need to purchase anything much outside of all inclusive. However, the strange token system was not explained to us and by day 3 I had a difficult conversation with bar staff who wouldn't give me a drink as we had never been issued any. Also there's not really enough signs telling you the bars are card only if you do want to buy anything The last few days of the holiday there did seem to be an issue with flies, perhaps due to the change in weather that needs addressing. Pools Loved that there was no 5am sunbed rush as you see in many hotels. Opening the pool at 10 allowed for plenty of sunbeds and a clear system that allowed good relaxation. The two main pools are a good size and the splash pool for kids looked great. Lifeguards throughout really made it safe although tiling around pool areas slippy. Entertainment We didn't really make use of the entertainment team but despite this it was clear to see how hard working they are. Lots of things to do if you look for it and they did try and get people involved without forcing anything. There could be more music around the general pool areas. Area and amenities Small shop wasn't badly priced but recommend taking a left out the hotel and using the Mercadona for any extras, it's really cheap and closes late. To the right is a row of small shops and eating areas. There's not a lot else around but busses are directly outside. We went to elarenal but it wasn't for us. Checkout Paid extra for a late checkout which was worthwhile and painless the staff on reception and throughout the hotel are friendly if a little detached. We would stay again at this hotel despite minor quibbles and it's a nice relaxing base for couples and families. Thanks for a pleasant stay

Overall, we had a mixed experience at the hotel. There were some positive aspects, but unfortunately a number of issues significantly affected our holiday. The hotel itself was pleasant, and the reception and pool areas were clean and well maintained. Sunbeds were also easy to get. The pool area was closed until 9am, which did mean there was no opportunity for an early morning swim or exercise. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were disappointing. Of the four rooms in our party, three had problems with ants. When this was reported, the response was simply to sweep them away rather than properly address the underlying issue. The rooms also did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival, with fake nails and rubbish left behind by previous guests. The food was very basic and, towards the end of meal service, the choice was extremely limited. There was also frequently a shortage of crockery. Both bars regularly had queues, and drinks would often run out, which was frustrating, particularly when the hotel was busy. We also felt that the hotel was heavily geared towards its French clientele. This was particularly noticeable with the evening entertainment, which we found disappointing. After the entertainment, the music was predominantly French, which made the atmosphere feel less inclusive for guests of other nationalities. We also felt that some of the games and activities did not always feel fairly balanced between nationalities. Another concern was an incident where a guest cut themselves on broken glass. Blood was left in communal areas afterwards, which we found particularly concerning from a health and safety and cleanliness perspective. One of our biggest disappointments was the lack of TUI representation at the hotel. During our entire stay, we did not see a TUI representative visit the hotel, and there was no useful TUI information available at reception. There was also no information about the hotel or its facilities provided in our rooms. Having a representative available, or at least clear information about who to contact and what facilities were available, would have made a significant difference. Overall, while there were some positives, the combination of the room cleanliness issues, basic food, shortages at the bars and restaurant, limited entertainment, and lack of TUI support meant that the holiday did not meet the standard we had expected.

Location The location I’m going to say isn’t great as there’s nothing to do around, you can barely access the closest beach as it’s quite dangerous getting down the rocks. There is a supermarket, a few restaurants, a Tabasco shop and a random shop but no little shops to get the memerobila as you usually would on holiday. Atmosphere The atmosphere is also bad as around the pool there is no music unless aqua dance is on and even then typically only catering for French guests and I believe this shouldn’t happen. Again the staff here don’t even create a good atmosphere as they will only speak to the French guests and I were even told at reception this tends to happen as they pay more….this is appalling. I feel the atmosphere is bad as no guests get along as you typically would in a hotel as the different nationalities are treated different so it seems we know where we stand Rooms This is the worst part…. Our room seemed fine to begin with now I never usually check around the room as i wouldn’t pick at little things until i have a reason and which I did. It began with the light flickering in the bathroom randomly which would just stop and start, and then I found the light around the bathroom mirror never worked. Now for the worst part, as I picked up my suitcase from the floor to start packing to go home I had saw ants crawling along the floor to then open the case and to my surprise ants in my suitcase and they had eaten the material in my underwear…. This was disgusting as we also later on found them in the bed and pull out bed, we had called the cleaner and she wasn’t bothered she sweeps and sprayed and walked away but we still found many and may I add this wasn’t a food issue as there was none lying around Value I wouldn’t say this hotel is good value as we also had an incident as where they had told us they ran out of Malibu, how can an all inclusive physically do that…. The food was cold and never much option to choose from and got so repetitive
