Very disappointing – definitely not a four-star experience We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. For a four-star, all-inclusive resort, the experience fell well below what we expected. The rooms were very small and the air conditioning was unreliable, which made the stay uncomfortable. The biggest disappointment, however, was the so-called all-inclusive package. It didn’t feel all-inclusive at all, with various restrictions and things that weren’t included. At times, the whole experience felt more like being back at school, with rules and limitations rather than being able to relax and enjoy a holiday. The worst incident was around the pool. One day, a woman was visibly being sick in the pool. The lifeguard was sitting nearby putting on make-up and talking on her phone and did not take any immediate action. We had to make a complaint ourselves. Initially, we were told that the pool filter would simply wash it away. It was only after we pushed the issue that they finally agreed to close the pool and clean it. That response was completely unacceptable and left us questioning the hygiene and safety standards of the hotel. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We certainly did not feel that we received the standard you would expect from a four-star, all-inclusive hotel. Save your money and choose somewhere else. We definitely would not return.

Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly. The staff are amazing especially Eva and Javi behind the bar and in the restaurant. Food all day if you want it and a lovely variety. Room is spotless and the AC is great. The pool is fantastic and always beds to be had. The animation team are really good and plenty going on. We met some fab people, everyone is just friendly. Will definitely return.

Stayed here for a week with my 5-year-old, just the two of us. I’d read the reviews before we arrived (and, of course, read even more after I’d booked 😂), so I had a fairly good idea of what to expect. Overall, we’ve had a really enjoyable stay. There are a few things worth knowing, particularly if you’re travelling with young children, but for us the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The negatives first… Yes, the lifts are slow! They could definitely do with an upgrade, and they’re quite small, so if you struggle with enclosed spaces you may find them uncomfortable. That said, they’re still preferable to walking up nine flights of stairs armed with bags and a five-year-old! The drinks/token system is probably my biggest gripe. I can kind of see the logic behind it, but it feels like more effort than it’s worth. On arrival, each guest is given two plastic tokens which you exchange for a drink — including water. You can only order two drinks at a time. This didn’t really affect us as there were only two of us, but I can imagine it becoming annoying for larger families or groups. My little one doesn’t drink fizzy drinks and there isn’t really squash available. There is cordial, but it wasn’t the greatest. There’s a supermarket just a few metres from the hotel, so I bought a bottle of squash there and used it to top up his water. The all-inclusive drinks menu could also be clearer, particularly regarding which cocktails are included. Generally though, it’s the sort of bar selection you’d expect from an all-inclusive hotel. The pool doesn’t open until 10am, which is worth knowing if you have an early-rising child! There isn’t a great deal for little ones to do around the hotel while waiting for it to open. Once it does, however, there are plenty of sunbeds. Pool rules also seem to vary depending on which lifeguard is working. Some days inflatables weren’t allowed apart from small children’s swimming aids; other days they were. It seemed to be a bit of pot luck. Food & cleanliness We thought the food was nice. You’ll always hear complaints about all-inclusive buffets, but you have to remember they’re catering for huge numbers of people. Yes, you’ll see some repetition, but what we had was very nice and we always found something to eat. The hotel itself is clean and I couldn’t fault the cleaning staff. Our room wasn’t necessarily made up every single day, but cleanliness was never an issue. One small thing — there are no shelves in the bathroom and very little space around the sink. If you travel with lots of toiletries/cosmetics, bear that in mind! Location The location is brilliant. You can reach Palmanova beach whichever direction you turn out of the hotel. I found turning right, walking down past the Palmanova Palace and then turning right again was the easiest route with my five-year-old. Either way, you can be at the beach within a few minutes. There are plenty of shops nearby, as well as the supermarket almost immediately outside. Taxis are easy to arrange through reception. A taxi into Magaluf cost us around €6.20 each way. Alternatively, it’s roughly a 20-minute walk, relatively flat and well signposted. There are also reps in the hotel who we found really helpful. Excursions If you’re considering the Pirates Adventure show, do it! We thought it was amazing. Our pickup was from the Aquasol Aparthotel, which was roughly an eight-minute walk from the hotel. We didn’t really watch the hotel entertainment during our stay, so I can’t fairly comment on that. Overall For me, most of the negatives are relatively minor things that are useful to know about rather than reasons not to stay here. The lifts need updating and I’d happily see the back of the drinks-token system, but the hotel is clean, the food is good, the location is excellent and we’ve found the staff helpful. As a mum travelling alone with a five-year-old, I felt the hotel worked well for us and we’ve had a lovely stay. I’d happily recommend it — just pack some squash if your child isn’t a fizzy-drink fan!

Told we couldn't get in room without 15 euro charge or have a drink (all inclusive) because we were 40 mins early despite been delayed because transfer bus had a minor crash with a van. 41 euros for a safe,twice what we normally pay. Poor quality drinks. Only 1/2 pint at a time for beer. Terrible entertainment E.G Jugglers dropped items 16 times! during performance(not intentionally) Bar staff member permanently angry(many people commented on him.) No music when entertainment went off, around 10pm. Same music everyday round the pool. Bland food, same every day. A/C not cool at all. Same with fridge. Cocktails (extra charge) terrible. We ended up going out every night, so paying for all inclusive was a waste of money. We usually go 2 or 3 star hotels, this was 4 star and worst ever with Tui.
