3rd time coming to the mimosa . It’s still a great hotel . The hotel is spotless and clean . The food is great I’d deffo be coming back again . The only thing that was annoying was the lifts are shocking I was on 7th floor so no way I was walking up . They always took forever . And the new token system while I agree with why they are doing it some of the bar staff can be very anal about the tokens . One of my party got given paper cups in the evening when swapped for tokens and was refused tokens back Afterwards and was very rude about it . It was sorted out the next day but shouldn’t have had to be like that . All in all though lovely hotel

Honest Review I'll start with the positives The staff were friendly enough some sounded abrupt but I think it was just the way they spoke helpful enough The rooms were clean but basic (no kettles in rooms you can hire them from reception) The domestic staff do a great job. Location was good approximately 10 minutes walk (24.50 euros for the day 2 beds and umbrella) The two tokens per person for drinks was absolutely fine you just take your glasses back and get tokens back, it saves lots of glasses lying around tables and allows staff to serve. The queues go down quite quickly as people are only allowed to get 2 drinks per person. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool area. Now the negatives The food in my opinion is not great, there was plenty but it was the same thing most days and cold. My husband can normally find something but on a couple of occasions he struggled (no microwave). My sister saw a cockroach on the floor in the restaurant. (It was reported to management and easyJet). Management apologised and stated they have the correct paperwork. Did see more cleaning being done. The snack bar outside the food was open, the food that was covered, the lids didn't fit properly (sorry to say there was a cockroach there as well) and a dead one in the pool. 46.50 euros tourist tax for a 7 night stay, safe 41 euros + 10 euros deposit (bit excessive have to pay cash for safe). The rooms have very thin walls if people talked you could hear everything. This was not great people coming in at 5 am talking really loudly (I know they have just come in from a night out but not great for yourself). Entertainment was poor on an evening, one night there was entertainment, then next evening just played music. This happened going forward. We left early morning, was kind enough to be told we could grab a quick cuppa from the restaurant. When I went down I was shocked to see all the dirty plates with food waste still on the majority of tables. I think this should be cleaned up the night before when tea finishes at 9 pm

Honestly, I really don't know where some of these bad reviews are coming. Pros: Great location, close to both the beach and bus stops. Very good food. Excellent staff at reception, in the restaurant, and at the bar — with one exception: an older lady with short dark hair at the pool bar (name starting with 'C') who didn't seem happy with her job and even took away straws when asked for them :D The pool is a good size with plenty of sun loungers, and the whole place is very clean. Convenient check-out at 12:00 PM. Cons: No kettle in the room, which is a problem if you need boiled water in the morning for medication. Long queues for drinks during breakfast, even in October. Extra €15 fee per room to extend stay/use facilities (check-in is from 2:00 PM). return - Yes!

We stayed 1st-8th October 2026. Having read the reviews we were worried but, as it turned out, for no good reason. We have stayed in all-inclusive hotels for over 20 years and the food in the Mimosa is amongst the best we have encountered. My wife is a fussy eater but was praising the food quality and taste at almost every meal. The chicken curry was to die for. The pork loin in peppercorn sauce was amazingly good. The theme dinners were fun. Paella was always good. The staff were friendly and worked really hard. The room we had on the 5th floor was very clean and was serviced daily (you don’t get that in all hotels). The lifts are small and always busy so that is a down-side but we are fit enough that 5 floors of stairs is not a huge inconvenience. We did not have any issues with late night noise, it was really quiet all night. The air con worked perfectly and was easy to adjust. The shower was great. The entertainment was average but as we tend to walk lots and explore the area we are not night owls and there is loads going on in town if late night entertainment is your thing. The only real downside for us was the queues for the bar in the evening - the token thing is OK, a bit odd but not hard to understand. However the waits were excessive - at some points I counted 24 people in the queue with a single member of staff serving. The larger man with glasses seemed more interested in pottering about moving stuff around the bar than supporting his colleague and serving when queues were long. When he wasn’t on duty whoever was was serving with their colleague to bring the queue down. We previously came to this same hotel 3 years ago and the evening queue was an issue then - it nearly stopped us booking this time and will probably stop us next time - a 15-20 minute wait in a queue for a drink is not acceptable on holiday. But apart from that gripe it was all good. Sun loungers always available, food great, drink quality good (the beer is Mahou, the Cava is comparable to a decent Prosecco and the Cola is genuine Pepsi not a rip off). Sort the evening drinks queue out and this would be a 5 star recommendation, but for now I have to make it just 4.
