I have just returned from a four day solo stay. I arrived at 11pm so the restaurant was closed by they opened it for us to have a snack which was much appreciated. I went straight to the room without having a look around. When i woke up and opened the curtains I realised that as usual, solo travellers get the worst rooms(Room 037) The room was clean and comfortable but the room was at the side of the road, and there was no view except for a bush which was so big it covered the whole of the balcony. POSITIVES the rooms are clean the food is plentiful although never very warm the location is pretty the staff are really nice and helpful NEGATIVES there is literally nothing to do in Cala San Vincente, there were two supermarkets, two bars/restaurants and that's it. There is no promenade as the beaches form 4 small coves so after your evening meal there is nowhere to go. the beaches are very difficult to get to if you are not completely mobile, steep hills and rickety steps. the sunbeds on the beach are 20 euro but there are no facilities ie toilets or beach bar the pool area at the hotel is dull, plastic chairs, plastic sunbeds and no music you cannot have a coffee after your lunch or evening meal because for some reason the coffee/tea machine is out of bounds except at breakfast time. You can get a coffee at the pool bar but it closes at 7pm so if you want a coffee with your desert you are out of luck.

Firstly the positives. The location was perfect for myself and my sisters. The bus into pollenca and Porto pollenca was around the corner. The rooms were lovely and big and we were given sea view which was perfect for us. Lastly, the staff in reception were so lovely and friendly, they deserve all the credit for that hotel. The negatives are the food was absolutely appalling, it wasn’t even hot, it was warm or cold. The sausage and bacon were awful. There wasn’t even any chips the one evening an hour before closing. Most of the staff in the restaurant were rude. The last 2 days of our holiday we had to eat out. The drinks package was a joke, only a few drinks on the all inclusive package. We had to use tokens which was a nightmare and on several occasions the staff used the same cup as the previous drink that we had, even if it was a different type drink. Most of the staff behind the bar were rude too. I would not recommend that hotel to anyone, so read these reviews carefully before booking with Globales Simar.

⭐️⭐️ The room was okay and perfectly fine for our two-night stay, as we were visiting while cycling. Unfortunately, we weren’t overly impressed with the buffet food, which could have been better. We appreciate that it was towards the end of the season, so perhaps this had an impact. Overall, it was an okay stay for a couple of nights, but there were definitely areas that could be improved.

Just had a lovely week at the Simar fabulous location very friendly staff and we met some lovely people from all over the world only disappointing thing was the food was hit and miss but apart from that we had a fantastic time and will be definitely returning

After four lovely days here, we are genuinely so sad to be leaving. What started with a couple of little hiccups quickly turned into such a wonderful stay, thanks entirely to the kindness, care and attention of the management and staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and from the moment we spoke to them, they went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic holiday. This trip was particularly special to us as we were here to celebrate my daughter Caitlin’s birthday, and I would like to give a huge thank-you to the hotel management for the lovely things they arranged for her. It was incredibly thoughtful and made her birthday feel really special. Those personal touches meant such a lot to both of us and showed just how much the hotel genuinely cares about its guests. The hotel is in an absolutely beautiful location, but what really makes it special are the people who work here. We have felt so welcome and looked after, and we would thoroughly recommend it. And then there is Krystal from the animation team, who deserves a very special thank-you all of her own. Krystal, you have been an absolute joy. Your energy, kindness, humour and the way you make time for absolutely everyone is something very special. From the smallest children to the oldest guests, you somehow manage to make every single person feel included and welcome. You have an incredible natural talent for what you do, and if there is a career to be made in entertainment and animation, we genuinely believe you will go far. But more importantly, you are simply a beautiful person with a huge heart. Thank you, Krystal, for the laughs, the conversations, the fun and for being such a memorable part of our holiday. People may forget the little details of a hotel, but they never forget the people who made them smile — and we will absolutely remember you. We sincerely hope our paths cross again one day. Please never lose that wonderful sparkle of yours. ❤️ A huge thank-you to the management, Krystal and every member of staff at the Cima for giving us four days filled with genuinely happy memories. We are leaving with smiles on our faces, some wonderful memories — and a real wish that we didn’t have to go home! We will most definitely be back. ❤️
