Grupotel Amapola

A great place for a break. Check in was easy rooms very clean and kept clean every day. The hotel is in a great location close to shops and only ten minutes from the beach even quicker for those with younger legs. There are several pubs and restaurants close by if you want to get out and about. Pool area has plenty of seating and sun beds for everyone the bar and restaurant service was excellent, the food was good although not always to my taste, seemed to cater for the continental tastes but when in Spain you’re not expecting roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for Sunday lunch. There was always plenty to eat. There was a good choice drinks at the bar although the beer wasn’t to my taste. The entertainment was ok although I don’t need to be entertained but is there if you want it. The pool aerobics seemed very popular as was the ball game in the pool which seemed to get quite competitive. I would have no hesitation in going back and recommend to couples and families alike.

Lovely hotel ! Activity staff was fantastic my son joined in so much and the staff always made a fuss of him ! Rooms lovely food lovely , only downfall is the mosquitos as it is by a lake we was all bitten so badly. But would highly recommend this hotel, all bar staff polite also.

This is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff who take pride in there work. The hotel is spotless, the housekeepers do a fab job of all the cleaning. Our room was cleaned daily with new bedding and towels which I have to say the towels were the best we have ever had, there were huge and really soft. The beds are the best we have slept in with deep mattresses and very comfy. The food was lovely and always hot, the restaurant staff like all the other staff were friendly and always smiling. The pool area was also spotless, pool cleaned everyday. What more could you want. It was such a chilled 11 days made more fabulous by the beautiful weather and surroundings. We will definitely go back. But would ask for a pool view room If you dont like ridiculous loud activities/music from the hotel opposite. But dont let that put you off if your ok with that. We are balcony people and love a drink on the balcony at night but towards the last few days the noise was quite bad, but like we say ask for a pool view room. Give this hotel a go you won't be dissapointed.

This hotel is in an ideal location next to a lake. The staff are all very friendly and a lot of people return year after year. the food is excellent and you can eat as much as you like. I would also recommend this hotel for young families.

Pro -food -close to playa del muro -clean -friendly Cons -could be noisy(you can hear pretty much everything through the walls) if you don't have quiet neighbors -in some days powerful sewage smells idk if it's weekly -the desert could be better most of them are bought not made -no real good pillows -the guy from animation team a little bit too friendly -the pool kinda small The hotel will be much better if you can fix some of the things.
