Grupotel Port d'Alcudia

Immaculately clean hotel, good facilities for young children including play park, pool area and entertainment programme. I loved the large pool which was surrounded by palm trees and pretty shrubs. My room was spacious with 2 good size tv’s, a wrap around balcony from bedroom to living room and one of the nicest bathrooms ever had in an hotel. The location is mid way between the Port area and the more lively bars and clubs and is just a short walk to the long promenade and beach. Wonderful hotel, just slightly disappointed by evening entertainment for adults.

Great hotel, all staff pleasant and helpful, rooms clean and fully equipped for your needs, good value for money, hotel in a quiet area close to beach and marina, if you are able the 1.5 mile walk to old Alcudia for the Sunday and Tuesday markets is definitely worth the effort. We went as a couple and the best time to visit would be outside the school holidays as the hotel is very family friendly.

Back to Alcudia after 22 years from last time things have changed a bit. Can not fault the Hotel with it's cleanliness and friendly staff the rooms were cleaned to a good standard, only set back was not a good variety of food.The pool was cleaned daily and you could always get a sun bed any time in the day we was there in September so maybe a bit quiet after the School Holidays.Value for money? not sure about that, went Half Board Plus thinking all drinks were free but no only in the restaurant so have to cough up more money for all inclusive.

We've been coming here on and off since the 1990's and it still feels welcoming. It's quiet but only 10 minutes from the lovely beach and only about 20, minutes from the port. The rooms are spacious with an exceptionally large balcony. The pool is beautifully kept and there is a small gym and indoor pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are no criticisms just a suggestion that the pool bar offers a better variety of snacks rather than mostly burgers, hot dogs and chips.

Check in was quick and smooth. Room on floor 3 was quite large and had everything we needed inc a fridge. Found the staff to be helpful and friendly , always smiling. The buffet restaurant was ok, there was always something that we liked but the choices were somewhat limited. What we did have was good. The pool area is super....always plenty of sunbeds available which is a huge plus. Pools easy to get into and out of. The pool bar is great, never had a problem getting served. Location is good close to the beach. Mozzies never a problem. Had a lovely relaxing week here and would recommend.
