Hipotels Cala Millor Park Hotel

Had a great stay at cala millor park. Was upgraded to a Seaview suite on arrival which was great after a long transfer, very much appreciated. A bottle of water in the room which is used to refill at the bar, no water stations available. Room, pool and all areas very clean. We stayed all inclusive, food was varied and plenty of choice enjoyed the granita very much. Drinks were good plenty to choose from, branded names were extra, but the local spirits were fine. Animation team were very friendly and put on a good show, also organised trips out of the hotel everyday which I thought was a great idea, we went on the bike ride to Porto christo, we had a really great trip out and animation team who accompanied us prioritised our safety and were very friendly. The majority of the staff were friendly, it's a shame just a couple at the pool bar were offhand when the queue built up, this happened because there are no self service stations for water or soft drinks and also if you want drinks and food you are told to go and stand in front of a different counter for different items, but are then served by the same person! It actually put me off asking for snacks. Also there were alot of wasps around the nozzles of the drink dispensers. Entertainment finished at 10pm promptly, it would have been nice if background music could have been left on as it felt like the staff were waiting for us to go. The hotel is in a great location, on top of the beach 20 euros for two beds, safe and umbrella. Plenty of shops on the pedestrian street, overall a great resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cala millor park, the positives definitely outweighed the couple of niggles which could be easily addressed. Thank you cala millor park we will certainly be returning.

We stayed in one of the apartment rooms overlooking the pool, which provided loads of space, good layout and comfort. There was very little noise and the comfy beds meant a good night's sleep was possible. The whole hotel and grounds were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is sauntering distance to the beach which is very beautiful with warm sea and clear water. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Just back from a lovely week away, have never been to Cala Millor resort before and would recommend it. The hotel was very nice, clean and well kept. The only problem we had was dripping water from the air con in the ceiling at 5am one morning but after a quick word with reception who were helpful, this was sorted by maintenance first thing in the morning. A little disappointed with the food choices, not as I would expect for a 4 star hotel. Many of the same dishes on many days and lots of fish, which I’m not keen on. Our room was a junior suite with a lovely sea view. The hotel is close to the main restaurants, shops etc which is nice to walk to in the evenings. We also walked along the front to Cala Bona. We enjoyed watching Erica and Adrian from the entertainment team. The evening entertainment from visiting acts was not great. All staff were friendly and helpful and the bar staff work extremely hard and always pleasant. The pool area was clean and there was always lots of sun beds available, this may have been due to it being the beginning of September.

Just returned from our second time at this hotel, another amazing stay. We were upgraded to the most beautiful room after the airline lost my case, which had a stunning view. The food again was beautiful, we did find there to be a lot more pork based evening meals this year but there was still always plenty of other options. Breakfast was always such a good selection too. Staff as always are so friendly and pleasant. The pool area was obviously busy with it being August but we could still find plenty of sunbeds even in the afternoon, the pool is also such a good size when its busy you can still have a lovely swim. Room was cleaned everyday by such a friendly maid who did a great job! Location is second to none here, you have the beach within 2 mins, shops and bars across the road and the bus/taxi stops are also right outside if you wish to go anywhere. We will 100% be going back next year for our 3rd stay! Highly recommend :)

Just returned from another great holiday here. So many positives which is the reason we return every year. The hotel is clean and modern, located just a few minutes walk from the beach and main street with lots of bars and shops, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with nice options like a pillow menu and a form to select preferred cleaning times. Plenty of storage space. We were grateful to have requested a room in a specific part of the hotel and been given it. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds with no morning rush to reserve them (some are still available mid morning). There are parasols between every 2 sunbeds (they are fixed though and can't be moved so if you're in a family/group of an odd number and are sharing with another family/group it can be awkward if one wants it up for shade but the other wants the sun). Inflatables and balls are allowed in the pool and although there were lots being used the pool never felt too full or crowded. The pool bar snacks which we used for lunch are very good with choices of sandwiches, burgers, pizza, chips, nachos, nuggets, onion rings, fruit and icecreams. The main restaurant food was also good overall at breakfast and evenings. The alcoholic drinks on all inclusive are not branded but were good. It was nice to have the option to sit at the outdoor bar at the front of the hotel as well as around the pool bar. My reasons for not giving a rating of 5 are: - There is only a small area under a canopy for eating lunch at the pool bar which is shaded and people are constantly smoking there which is unpleasant. Separate shaded smoking and non smoking areas would be fairer for those who do not want to breathe in others' smoke. - The queuing system at the pool bar is frustrating. You have to queue in 3 separate queues for drinks, snacks/food or icecreams. So if you want to get a drink, an icecream and a slice of pizza you have to queue 3 times, only to be served by the same staff 3 times separately. Doing this repeatedly over a week becomes annoying. - The food in the main restaurant at evening meals between 8 and 9 when we liked to eat was not replenished often enough, or sometimes not at all (e.g. joints of meat which are sliced by the chef, some of the nicer cakes or strawberries for the chocolate fountain) meaning guests who liked to eat later didn't get the same choice as those who ate earlier. Overall this is a very good hotel where we've always had lovely holidays and will continue to return.
