I chose to stay at this hotel for a second consecutive year because the first time I went it was pretty perfect. This time around, I paid for the same style room (one bedroom garden apartment) knowing that it had everything I needed/wanted. One of the things I had liked the year before was how cold the air conditioning was. We were taken to our apartment which this year was in a different block/building (this in itself was not a problem. The problem was the air conditioning this time was extremely poor/weak/had no power whatsoever. The first night we were very hot and woke up many times. I rang reception, they sent someone, they said it was working perfectly fine etc. Regardless of this, in comparison to the year before, the air conditions was not working efficiently and there was nothing we could do about it apart from be really firm that we needed at the least, a fan (which we got). The bathroom also had no bath, which the year before we had. Reception said that some have baths and some do not. My biggest piece of advice therefore is to let returning guests know that there can be variations such as these when returning to the hotel. I wish I had accounted for this and not assumed I would get the same standard I had when I first visited, as I paid more this time around and received bad air conditioning and no bath. Other than that, the stay was good.

Positives - Upgraded to sea view on arrival, rooms were spotless , as were the grounds of the hotel. Location is perfect for children, beach is lovely. Negatives - Pool areas could do with a bit more cleaning as very slippy. food was average. One day it was raining and we had checked out so had no room. My disabled daughter took a piece of bread from the buffet as we had no room and were sitting around. A very rude little waiter come over a berated us in front of everyone. I argued with him that it was a piece of bread?! Went over to reception and she apologised and went to speak to him and he then left us alone, Guest in general in this hotel are rude. English people were lovely. My daughter is 8, she has special needs and is in a disability pram. The looks, whispers and sometimes blatant pointing and laughing from guests was disgusting. How I didn’t end up fighting I don’t know. So if your one of them vile guests I hope your proud of yourself for ruining our holiday. Thank you to the hotel for going above and beyond for us. Excellent value for money and lovely overall experience

*British Review* I only say this to inform the reader for any bias etc. The perfect hotel for families. Great facilities, entertainment and an amazing animation team for the kids. Walking across the road was not a problem to get to the pools or restaurant because it was actually fun for our daughter and made the nighttime feel like ‘going out’ if you know what I mean. Yes there weren’t many British families and there was a noticeable German majority but that didn’t matter to us because everyone was very friendly and kind. I only mention it because of other reviews bringing this subject up. The only thing that let the hotel down was the food. There was some lovely local dishes with flavourful stews etc but it was let down by not getting the basics right such as grilling meat. The meat on its own such as Tuna, lamb, chicken etc was always tough, dry and sometimes burn’t. The kind that you give up trying to cut never mind want to eat. So overall perfect for families, kids will love it but if food is important to you then I wouldn’t book this hotel. Other hotel chains provide much better food in my experience such as Iberostar.

I really loved the hotel, the room, the view and the food mostly. These are the reasons alone for my return. Beach was also absolutely unreal and the water was pristine. My only annoyance was with emphasis on the German language, this is Spain afterall and I felt like I heard animation mostly in German, excursion was In German before it was in English, receptionist spoke to me in German before addressing me in English, it was just a bit annoying. They can speak English, let's not make the hotel german. Apart from that-10/10
