HM Isabela - Adults Only

Very clean hotel. Room and balcony are small and feel cramped. We had a nice view of the pool. Beds were comfortable. We were bed and breakfast and the food was stone cold. Coffee machine often had no milk. Pints were €5 which is normal price. Pool was great nice temperature. No sunbed available after 10 apart from the ones that you had to pay for.

This hotel is a 3 star not a 4 star.We had to change rooms three times as the ac wasn't working.In our last room the shower was leaking and flooded our hallway and the water went outside our front door.The hotels overall appearance was good.The cleaners don’t really clean it’s just a change of the sheets.They wouldn’t clean properly say you left a water bottle on the side that would just stay there.The food was average.Some nights it was really good others it wasn’t.The location was quite good we was right near the beach and the strip so it wasn’t a far walk to places.The pool on the overhand is too crowded as they have over 400 rooms and only one pool the sun-beds would get crowded quickly.Their just wasn’t enough space for everyone.

A factory for tourists. Same food every morning. Staff was hardly cheerful with zero personalized efforts. 10 euros to rent a pool towel. No pool attendants. Tried dinner one night and couldn’t sign it to my room. Location is in the middle of tourist traps and mediocre restaurants. Keep looking and steer clear.

Great location. Right on the beach and close to lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Spotless. Lovely decor. Staff are all friendly. Food was lovely and fresh. Good selection and themed nights were great. Never had an issue with sunbeds and the padded ones gave it a luxurious feel. Pool is not huge but an ideal size to have a quick cool off dip.

The hotel is in an ideal central location, just a short walk from the beach, bars, restaurants and souvenir shops, making it a great base for exploring the resort. The hotel was pleasantly clean throughout, and the room had everything we needed for our stay. One tip would be to take a few folding travel coat hangers, as there was only 8 for a room for 2-3 guests. As this is a lively resort, I'd also recommend packing some earplugs, as there is some night-time noise and the balcony doors don't block all of it out. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and were happy with the breakfast. There was a good selection of food, everything looked fresh, the buffet was topped up regularly throughout the morning, and the dining area was clean. There were a few things that let the hotel down. Information for guests was very limited, with no welcome pack, map or useful guidance on arrival – we were simply pointed towards the dining room. The covered walkway to the hotel is also the designated smoking area, so you have to walk through groups of people smoking each time you enter or leave, which wasn't particularly pleasant. There was also a noticeable smell from the drains around the hotel, and unfortunately this could sometimes be detected inside the building, particularly in the rooms. Also seemed to be an internal issue with either drains or air-conditioning as the room had a general stale smell. Although there are signs asking guests not to reserve sun loungers, this wasn't enforced during our stay, so many loungers were occupied by towels for long periods. Overall, we had an enjoyable holiday and the hotel has some genuine strengths, particularly its location, cleanliness and breakfast. The issues mentioned above would make me choose a different hotel if I visited the resort again, however this is highly unlikely.
