Iberostar Selection Jardin del Sol Suites

We’ve just enjoyed a wonderful week at Jardin Del Sol Suites in Santa Ponsa. Everything about this hotel feels generous: the (spotless) bedrooms, the massive beds, the powerful showers, the beautiful grounds. Even the swimming pools never feel crowded. The food is outstanding - so much choice at every meal, and plenty of authentic Spanish dishes (lots of Spanish guests). A special mention to the lovely chef who was kind enough to give us the secret of her delicious salmorejo soup. This was our second visit to the hotel, a year on from our first, and it was pretty amazing to recognise so many of the staff. The Star Prestige bar manager told us she’d worked here for 16 years. Thanks to Esme at reception for her great chat and good advice, and to all the unfailingly cheerful staff in the restaurant. One very minor complaint might be that the main bar lacks a bit of atmosphere in the evening (dim those lights!) but that doesn’t stop most people enjoying themselves. Thanks to all for a memorable holiday.

Fabulous hotel , luxury all the way with Star Prestege. Spacious rooms, amazing selection of food in a relaxing indoor or outdoor restaurant. Great day time and evening entertainment. Staff so friendly and warm , we were particularly fond of Montse our Restaurant Server who always greeted us with a smile and always so very helpful ….. there was also Dylan our Irish Barman, such a delight and never stood still, always busy here and there. Along with our parents we have revisited Jardin Del Sol and will again… it’s probably one of the very best hotels we have stayed in.

As always, we had another amazing stay in Jardin del Sol. The staff always makes us feel like at home. The facilities are great, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the pool areas and bars are great too. The restaurant is absolutely amazing, the food is delicious and the views are breathtaking. In the spa you can enjoy the indoor swimming pool, turkish bath and sauna. The hotel is an adults only and very quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is very unique and nothing beats the views here. A special thanks goes to the staff who ensured we were well taken care of, especially Tomeu - reception manager, who did everything to make our stay extra special, also his team members Tatiana and Adama, and JuanMa from the bar. The whole team in this hotel works very hard and they do it with a genuine smile, they are great professionals who do their job with love and care and make sure everything goes smoothly. The location was beautiful looking out over the bay. Mel booked us in and gave us cava and strawberries and arranged for us to access a fresh cold buffet before sleeping as we arrived very late in the evening. The room was great, spacious and clean and very comfortable, with a balcony and great view. The minibar was well stocked and replenished each day as was the coffee machine. The towels were freshened twice a day if required. Filtered water readily available. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. We went star prestige and all inclusive. The infinity pool was glorious and the bar staff for that pool were attentive and helpful. The level 3 cafe for star prestige had a lady who went out of her way to seek ingredients for my cafe bombon, in cafe del Sol Ryan and Dylan were excellent and friendly each evening. Marc and Ian put on excellent entertainment options including cocktail making classes and bracelet making. We enjoyed some time in the spa and had a special milestone anniversary gift of cava and fruit and chocolates with rose petals scattered on the bed. We have enjoyed every moment , the restaurant is exceptional with fresh fish and meats to order and different themes each evening with salad bars and desserts to make the mouth water. We will be returning to honeymoon next year.

Really enjoyed our stay, so relaxing! And all the staff were friendly and great service ( especially Juan with the iced coffees by the pool and Marc for the afternoon cocktail classes!)
