Lovely hotel apart from - when myself and my husband got to the hotel we were advised that there was 2 bookings in our names. We never made the second booking in the same 2 names. They waiting until we were gone out of the hotel and applied a 50% no show booking fee to our credit. -when eating my dinner on the hotel on the last even I found a hair under the piece of steak.

A truly exceptional hotel in a central location close to the beach. The service is world-class, and the personal is warm, welcoming, and attentive. A variety of activities and events are offered daily, ensuring that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable stay. In addition to these activities, the hotel features a beautiful wellness and spa area, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cuisine is equally commendable. Whether at breakfast or dinner, guests are consistently delighted with thoughtful culinary surprises and outstanding quality. We just got back from a lovely week away at this hotel. On paper it is a fabulous place to stay. The welcome was lovely and are staff are friendly enough. It’s calm and perfect for relaxation. We booked a sea view suite which had a hydrobath on the balcony and room was exceptional (although pricey). The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. It was incredibly clean everywhere in the hotel. We had access to the Star Prestige rooftop terrace and bar in the day and that had incredible views and always had sunbeds available. Credit goes to Jannier (please can the hotel pass on our thanks to him) as he truly provided a 5 star service up there. The food was good quality but because not everyone is all-inclusive, the variety was a bit limited so it did get a bit boring after a week. Ruth was a really friendly waitress and she should receive our thanks too. All inclusive drinks are limited but that wasn’t a real problem, just a bit odd. The biggest issue we had was the area. It is a truly noisy and tacky resort. You could hear young lads chanting day and night and the resort was not made was older couples or people wanting something a bit more natural and aesthetically pleasing. So you felt a bit struck in the hotel which didn’t really fit in the resort. Luckily, there is a bus nearby that takes you into Palma for 2 euros and it is easy to access. Entertainment was not brilliant, just singers each night. We missed the usual standard of entertainment for Iberostar. Other things that put us off slightly were the lack of finishing touches. For example, for a five star hotel, there was no doorman or anyone waiting to help you in with luggage. We never use that service anyway and are happy to carry our own bags but it’s not usual to have no-one available. They did take our bags to our room though. Also, the main pool area was nothing special. If you did not have access to the Star Prestige lounge, it would have felt more 3 star. Even on the roof terrace, they pay more attention to the adjoining restaurant than they do the terrace. They are constantly moving furniture and being noisy, closed the terrace early one night for a private party and had a loud wedding in there the next. Not a problem but noisy. Not very ‘spa’ like. We did have a good week but we would not return to the hotel. We have stayed at better 4 star Iberostar hotels in Mallorca.

The hotel was nice. The location however was a huge let down. German Benidorm was what we arrived into. Not a place to have a 5 star.

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff. We were welcomed by Marc & Julian who sat us down with a glass of fizz. This became a regular occurrence every time we saw Marc in reception he wanted to give us a glass! Lovely guy and he came out to give our tour driver ( booked independently) the once over before we left which we thought was a lovely touch. The food in the restaurant for breakfast & dinner was excellent and some of the best we have enjoyed on our travels. No standing at coffee machines as coffee was ordered and brought to the table. Our room was spacious and modern but not really suitable for 3 ladies sharing due to privacy issues. Bath & sink in room and shower & toilet with glass doors ( partly glazed but not ideal) we had an issue with the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable but this was sorted by Blanca their lovely customer service manager. The Star Prestige area on the top floor was lovely and we were brought treats like ice lollies and fresh fruit cocktails. It is a shame the hotel is in a predominantly German area frequented by large groups of men drinking to excess and chanting noisily. We used taxis to go into Palma as we didn't like the beach area because of this. Overall a great stay.
