Iberostar Waves Ciudad Blanca

We stayed here all inclusive for 10 nights in a 1 bedroom studio with sea view. The balcony view was stunning. The room needed a refurb, the bed was not particularly comfortable but the other facilities in the room were okay. The beach is so easily accessible from this hotel and was amazing, the sea was crystal clear and warm, good for snorkeling, we saw lots of fish and not even far out. The pools were good and allowed inflatables. There was even an area where people could leave their inflatables and others could use them. There was also a book share shelf in the bar lounge area. We thought the Animation team and the activities made the stay for us, we enjoyed archery and rifle shooting every day and Kahoot quizzes and the shows, the Queen show, the 90's, 80's and the African acrobats were really good. We also enjoyed cocktail making and crafts like candle making. The little touches like little slushie cocktails being brought round by the bar staff in the afternoon and evening was really nice. The food was good in the restaurant and snack bar, also ice cream and ice lollies for free by the bar every day. A special mention for Nicolaj and Lille in the Animation team who were so lovely. The staff never stopped and were always approachable and friendly. I would say this hotel is good for adults that don't mind lots of kids around and is good for ages 6 and under, lots for them to do and lots for adults to do too.

We stayed for a 4-day long weekend in one of the hotel apartments on a half-board basis and had a fantastic time. The location is amazing, right on a beautiful sandy beach, and perfect for a relaxing break. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner, so there was something for everyone. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special mention to Olivia, who was outstanding and made us feel so welcome. The only downside was the airport coach transfer, which took around two hours. It was a long journey, but once we arrived, it was definitely worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

We had a fantastic stay at Iberostar. Check‑in was smooth, and the WhatsApp notification when our room was ready was really helpful. The room was a good size, spotless, and the cot was already set up, which was a great touch. The hotel was extremely clean throughout, especially considering how busy it was. Food was excellent with plenty of choice, and every staff member we met was friendly, helpful and professional. We mainly used the main pool and splash pool, both of which were spotless and well maintained. The area with spare toys left by previous guests was a simple but brilliant idea for families. The entertainment team were outstanding — great activities for kids, fun pool events, and well‑organised evening shows. Even on the rainy day they had a full indoor programme ready. Overall, a brilliant hotel and we would happily return. If your thinking of staying here then definitely do it. You won't regret it

We have just returned from our second visit, and we’re so glad we decided to come back! Our 3-year-old absolutely loved the main pool, especially the gentle incline, which meant she could happily run in and out of the water whenever she pleased. It was also so refreshing not to experience any of the usual sunbed wars! There were always plenty of sun loungers available around the pool throughout the day. The cabin with inflatables available to borrow was a fantastic and thoughtful addition. We didn’t see much of the animation team during our stay. I know there are lots of activities aimed at toddlers, so perhaps we just weren’t looking in the right place. However, our little one was so happy with the swimming and water slides that it really didn’t make any difference to us. The food was great, with a really good selection available every evening. All of the staff, from reception and front of house to the cleaning team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is absolutely immaculate, which is a real credit to the whole team. We’ve had another amazing stay and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable!

We visited Ciudad Blanca in September 2026 as a couple with one child aged just under two. We absolutely loved the hotel and would return without hesitation. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome from the team at reception and immediately got a very good impression of the hotel. Throughout our stay, everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and helpful. The room itself was dated and could do with modernisation. However, it was kept very clean and for our purposes worked perfectly fine. It was certainly big enough and we were given a pool view which was a massive plus. The restaurant had lots of options and the food was of good quality. The themed nights (Italy, Asia, Morocco, etc.) meant that we didn't get bored of the meals at any point. Some of the dishes were excellent and even our son (who can be quite fussy) managed to eat well. The pools worked really well for us. The gradual decline into the main pool meant that our son could walk in and out at his leisure. The slides in the kids pool were great and both pools were warm enough during our stay. We thought that the mini disco in the pool was a lot of fun and our son joined in on most days. The location is very good. The hotel is right on the beach and the sea is very shallow for quite some way meaning young ones can paddle without too much trouble. The path alongside the beach is easy to walk on and we took many walks down to the port where there are some restaurants and shops. Notwithstanding the above, the main reason that we would return is the entertainment team. They are up face painting at 9am, run activities all throughout the day and are still hosting the evening entertainment at 10pm. They never seem to stop and always have a smile on their face - special mentions to Nikolaj, Anna and Natalia who made us and our son feel very welcome. This was our first holiday with a toddler and we did have some trepidation that it might be hard work. In reality, the hotel had a lovely relaxed vibe, the huge amount of entertainment meant that we never got bored and the holiday was actually one of the best that we have ever had. We will be back!
