O7 Alondra

Nicely refurbished. Two minute walk from beach. Great location. Cuban bar across road. Mosquito bar up road great food. Mostly Germans. Nice pool area. Unfortunately they play non-stop music around pool which is totally unnecessary. No chance to relax. Not even noise cancelling AirPods help. Plus it’s on advert Spotify so they come on at full blast too. Thankfully didn’t get a pool view room as being round the pool was bad enough but at least could escape. Bring extra books as no exchange area and Amy books were in German. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Beaches busy even in mid September so must be mobbed in high season. Nice vibe to resort.

We are a family of 5 who are currently staying at the O7 Alondra hotel. I was impressed by the standard of the rooms. They were very modern and clean, and the shower was excellent. We had 2 rooms, 151 and 152, and the AC in room 151 was not as good as 152. Breakfast is very good with a great selection for all. The pool is refreshing and big enough. No issues finding beds at all, funny as there are fewer UK nationals, it seems no one gets up early to put towels on beds, which is great. The hotel is situated a stones throw away from the sea front, and multiple amazing restaurants are within a 5 min walk. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, super friendly and always willing to help. The guys behind the bar ( Raquel, Gustavo, and all the others) were so helpful. They looked after us so well even with me using my basic Spanish they managed to understand what we wanted. Parking can be an issue near the hotel but there are loads of side roads with spaces and we didn't have any problem. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are very new and peaceful and are also a bit cooler than the main pool, which was very refreshing. I was genuinely surprised by this hotel and if visiting Cala Ratjada again would not hesitate in rebooting it. Many thanks Dan and family

Currently staying in this hotel. Hotel itself is great.....location is perfect. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Everywhere is spotless. I booked a single room but was given a large double. I'm on a half board basis and the food is lovely. Restaurant is spotless and staff are constantly taking drink orders and clearing tables. The pool area is cleaned early morning and there are plenty of sun loungers. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. The only grumble I have is that there is no fridge or kettle in the room. I'm constantly going down to the bar to ask for ice to chill my bottled water and I have to wait until restaurant opens for breakfast at 745am to have a cup of tea. That is my only negative comment.

What a wonderful, pleasant stay! Completely renovated hotel, nice, clean rooms, new furniture, mattresses. Renovated public areas, nice pool area. Very good food. And so friendly staff!! Situated in a quite part of the city, and only a few minutes walk to the promenade. Highly recommend!

THE HOTEL HAD A FULLY REFURBISHMENT AND EVERYTHING IS NEW INCLUDING FLOORS, BATHROOMS, BEDS, MATRES ETC REALLY NICE AND CLEAN....so if you had been here before this is nothing like before!! Great for family, couple,kids, short holidays, long stays etc ...
