We spent 9 nights here, at the end of September, all inclusive, at first we were sceptical about what we have booked after reading many reviews, knowing that we have mainly stopped in resorts when we go abroad. I would like to state, if you're looking for a RESORT holiday, this is not a resort. I will break down everything about the hotel, this is my genuine review. Reception: We arrived at around 11pm, check in was smooth although a little slow (might just been me with being tired) all staff are very helpful, I would like to give a big mention to Ariel, he was brilliant and could not do enough for us, always helpful, smiley and up for a chat. Upon arrival, as it was a late check in and after dinner and bar has stopped serving, they did say there were food out for us in the restaurant if we would like, we declined the offer so unfortunately cannot comment on what was offered. Rooms: We had room 402, unfortunately this room was at the back of the property and did not have a balcony, at first I was disappointed, but soon got used to it. The room itself is what you'd expect for a typical hotel in Spain, small, but has everything you need, except a fridge/kettle etc. Bathroom is quite compact, without a window. The room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels. From some reviews there were mentions of a mouldy smell, we could not smell anything other than it being clean. The air con does work, if you understand how to use the system. Unfortunately when booking with Jet 2, we had no option to book a room with a balcony. Just like to say, that the balcony rooms are to the left side and back of the hotel. The front that faces the beach is not part of the hotel. Restaurant: The restaurant is modern, lovely atmosphere, plenty of space, great views of the bay when dining. The buffet had choices, regularly changing, never had a problem finding something to eat, however, during Lunch and Dinner time, did have to ask for butter to go with bread as none was left out, after a few days of asking, a small bowl of butter was left near the bread, but then disappeared after a couple of days. I would say the only suggestions I have to improve on the restaurant/food would be to make sure all foods are labelled, as some things were labelled but others weren't and was left wondering what things were e.g. the soup. As well as, leave some butter somewhere for those who enjoy bread and butter. Bar: The bar is open from 10:30 am - 11:00 pm, serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, proper branded drinks e.g. Coke, Fanta. Cocktails are available but are the homemade kind (blue lagoon, sex on beach, Pina colada) all watered down, but did the trick. The policy for the bar is to be served 2 drinks per person at one time. Be careful when you order some things as we got told they don't have it, when we could see the bottle on the shelf behind them, but when returned and asked for the same thing again they'd magically had it! (Malibu - well coconut rum and Pineapple). Just a bit of advice, if you are going to the beach, you can take the drinks to the beach, belongs if you bring back the plastic cups. Snack bar: The snack bar is open between 11am and 6pm, we never used the snack bar, but everyday was the same thing, hotdogs, nachos and pastries. The snack bar is a small counter, in the bar next to the bar. Pool: We never used the pool, because there were only 14 sunbeds, mainly taken before we got down, but also with it being at the back of the hotel, with high walls, small pool, the sun only came over that side in the late afternoon, so wasn't any point. Saying that there were plenty of outdoor seating, for evenings. Entertainment: As we stayed late September, presuming near the end of holiday season, there were no entertainment, or evening entertainment, all there were, was loud music playing from the TV from the bar. We found ourselves going out each night for a walk. Surroundings: As stated, we never used the pool, but the beach is literally on the doorstep, brilliant bay, clear, calm sea. We did pay €15.50 each day for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. There are plenty of shops along the beach, ranging from bars, restaurants and small shops etc SPAR. We found a brilliant cocktail bar called Prohibition, definitely worth a visit if you enjoy proper made cocktails. Additionally, public transport was very easy to use, quick and reliable, the bus stops are around the corner on the main street, and using Google maps you can see where the bus is currently and how busy the bus is before hand. Ice cream parlour: unfortunately, again probably due to how late we arrived in the season, the Ice cream parlour was not open, so could not try it out. Overall, we did enjoy our 9 night stay, and would definitely consider coming back again. Like I mentioned, this is not a resort but a budget friendly hotel. If we could not take the drinks to the beach although we paid All Inclusive then that would have been a game changer for us. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and helpfulness.

I reserved this accommodation to commemorate my husband's and my wedding anniversary, and I was profoundly disappointed by the substandard quality of our entire stay at this establishment. The hotel room was advertised as bright and contemporary, featuring an expansive, picturesque balcony with a scenic view . The room we actually occupied was dark, outdated and confined, devoid of windows that would permit natural light. The balcony served as the sole source of daylight; however, contrary to the open, airy balcony shown on the website overlooking the pool or ocean, the actual balcony served no functional purpose, led nowhere, creating a sense of confinement and failing to provide adequate ventilation to the room. Our accommodation remained in darkness throughout our entire stay. The hotel's dining were described as a curated selection of fresh, elegantly presented buffet cuisine with oceanfront views. In marked contrast, the actual fare provided appeared uninspired, economical, and inedible. The selection comprised basic trays of mass-produced pasta, chips, and stews, and contained no suitable options for me as a vegetarian. The all-inclusive buffet service we had paid for was inedible, necessitating that we dine at external establishments for all three daily meals. The hotel's elevator was inoperative for our entire stay, which meant we had to ascend four flights of stairs to reach our room. The hotel personnel demonstrated discourteous and uncooperative behaviour throughout our stay. When we requested assistance with local taxi arrangements, we were informed that no taxis were available and were directed to utilise public transportation instead. Upon seeking further guidance, we received minimal information and support, resulting in our failure to attend the pre-arranged paid excursion to Casa Millor for our £60 sea boat tour. The ONLY positive thing about this hotel was it was located next to the sea and this made it bearable. I cannot stress how awful this hotel and experience was, please do not book this.

Staff Excellent. Hotel very old in need of urgent update. Food is not good just warm nothing heated properly. Pool area way to small for size of hotel with just 14 sun loungers. Rooms and bathrooms cleaned well but not nice.
