Portblue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa

This hotel is so special, you could say we are a little biased having been so many times in the last 22 years including 3 times in the last 12 months, twice as a couple & once with family & friends who have also joined us many times before. This large resort is in a peaceful & very beautiful location with amazing views which may not suit everyone as it means it is a little isolated but that’s part of why we love it and the frequent bus service which stops within the hotel grounds easily gets you further afield if required. We know this resort like the back of our hand and have seen many mostly positive changes since our first visit, It is on a large spacious site with beautifully maintained gardens, catering for and entertaining a lot of guests and yes at peak times I can imagine it could feel a little on the busy side. Food and drink quality has always been of a high standard and the introduction of supplements on some of the All Inclusive items has upset some but the choice & quality available is still really great with many branded drinks and cocktails available, you certainly won’t go hungry or thirsty. The adult only section with its own pool, bar, lounge and restaurant is a huge plus. The recent upgrade to the large main pool is we believe a positive one with its gentle sloping beach sides making it ideal for smaller children and anyone with mobility issues. It’s only fair to mention the busy road in front of the hotel it has never effected our enjoyment of this resort and once you carefully navigate crossing it we would highly recommend a swim in the sea with it stupendous views it is really lovely. A new addition on this visit was a late night dance music event hosted by the entertainment team next to the infinity pool under the spar for all we are not in our prime we thought it was a great idea and decided to join in, it we very well done with great music and it’s own late night bar, we really enjoyed it. This resorts stand out asset has always been it’s staff many of whom we first met in 2004 and we love to see them each time we return they work so hard morning, noon and night looking after their guests and we are so appreciative of their efforts special mention to Jose, Alberto, Carmen, Sebastian we cannot wait to see you all again next year. I really don’t want to finish on a negative because I hope this post shows how much we absolutely love this hotel but we would really encourage the management team to consider not terminating the use of guests All Inclusive wrist brands at 12 noon on their departure day we feel it leaves a bad last impression of what is a brilliant resort, not being able to access food & water on your last day without paying just seems a poorly thought through approach , guest should leave happy with a big smile not disappointed and annoyed at unexpected expense.

Great entertainment on first night - Queen tribute.

We thoroughly enjoyed being at this hotel, so much available on site and it’s near to Alcudia and Puerto Pollentia if you want to explore more without travelling far. Our Maxima room was spacious and in a quiet location. The grounds are superb with excellent facilities, nice to wander round to walk off dinner! All staff were very helpful and the quality of food was really good. The shop prices were felt were very reasonable too. We’d love to return.

this was our first trip in Mallorca, and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. Since we spent most of our days exploring the island, unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to join the daytime activities at the hotel. However, we loved the hotel so much that we are sure we would not have been bored even if we had stayed at the hotel throughout our entire holiday. I would like to thank all staff for their kindness and hard work. I would especially like to express my appreciation to the housekeeping team and the staff working in the beautiful gardens and landscaping. Their effort and attention to detail truly made a difference. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We would be happy to come back again :)
