Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa

Last night of our 10 day vacation on an All Inclusive basis. Cannot fault anything. Rooms clean with towels changed every day, beds made. Had a swim up room, on reflection didn’t really need it. There is a children’s pool, a mixed pool, Adults only and an indoor pool with plenty of sun loungers available. Food is buffet style, plenty of choice and service was excellent. A nice 10 minute walk to the beach, passing plenty of shops and eating establishments. TUI offer plenty of excursions. We visited Marineland and Aquarium in Palma, both well worth a visit. Daytime activities and evening entertainment programme, bike hire available at the hotel. The children’s club was popular and staff encouraged children participation. A very enjoyable time, just ended too quickly. Money well spent.

We returned to this hotel after staying last year at the end of June as we enjoyed our stay so much. It didn't disappoint if anything it was even better! Me and my husband went all inclusive like the year before and we felt the food from the restaurant had improved even more. Replenishment was faster, more choice and felt to be better quality so that was a great plus. Drinks great choice, cocktails and wine did not disappoint. Staff great as always, friendly, helpful and good to see familar faces from the year before. Just one example we were curious of finding out days of the markets and the lady on the desk found them for us no problem, I celebrated my birthday there and was greeted at breakfast with a happy birthday and a cute chocolate cake and seeing other things around us just make the difference. Rooms are clean and cleaned everyday, modern and comfortable. We have only used the adults pool and it's great, no bed wars, little pool bar, lovely pool just nice to chill and relax. Location for us is perfect a 10 minute walk if that to the beach. Every evening after dinner a walk to the beach is lovely then back for cocktails! The only negative was the theme restaurant we choose to go to one eve. We felt it wasn't upto the high standard and great experience as we did get from the hotel. Overall a great holiday so thankyou and would definitely visit again at some point.

Please do not make the same mistake we did , by being sold on their promotional video ! This is far from the reality , and I'd like to add we truly wished our experience was a different one , I have documented evidence in video and photographic form that validates everything I add . Room .. Not cleaned thoroughly, ripped towels , floors unmopped, dirty balcony and Drinks area . Shampoo and shower gel ran out and wasn't topped up. Glass broken which sat on top of fridge, as a shelf , dangerous and could cut yourself if wasn't noticed. Reception Staff .. Unhelpful ( not all ) Waiting staff .. Unprofessional ( not all ) and the vibe we encountered was they were not interested in guest. They also fed ferrol cats while you where eating with leftovers off the tables they knocked onto the floor, this was witnessed on multiple occasions. One cat actually swiped at a toddler and I had to intervene Before she was hurt Rats in the bush when eating evening meal outside, reported to staff and maintenance who were aware ! And the outside restaurant is roadside ! Adult pool .. Tiles cracked in many areas .. shower was dirty , tiles loose and broken, the glass shower was so dirty you couldn't even see through the glass Discarded used cups left under the large white sunbeds ( multiple) for the duration of our stay 2 weeks White sunbeds stank , covered in mould, rust , bird faeces Adult pool so called Tranquil area is directly outside of a bus stop on a busy road. All day ...cars , motorbikes , trucks , Novelty train , taxis , horns and all the buses in and out of the hotels dropping people off etc Bikes .. sub standard and might say dangerous , had to change mine twice. First one no brakes Second no gear selection and low tyre pressure Please view the bikes they advertise on Tui website Reality they are like something you would get free to collect on Facebook market place and I do have video evidence. Corridors dirty stained floors carpets lifting up, floor 3 False ceiling fitted as the one above is crumbling down but can be viewed easily by just looking up. Entertainment.. average at best What I also found bizzare is the Entertainment was indoors ( in August) when every other hotel had a outside area Gym .. hardly any equipment Sauna and indoor pool Was closed for quite a few days and the smell was horrendous, Staff aware of the smell . My advice would be to research the hotel you book yourself , and don't be sold by Glossy promotional videos Check out surrounding area as this is on a extremely busy road and huge carpark opposite. Spend your money wisely !

11th visit so not much more to say really. Hotel is very clean & all staff are friendly & welcoming. There were a few staff changes this year especially within the bar & as usual they were all great & there was a good atmosphere both during the day & at night. Service seemed to be faster than in previous years which meant table service the whole evening saving a few trips to the bar. Jose Carlos in the restaurant must get a special mention as I have no idea how he remembers everyone from previous years (and their room numbers when they enter the restaurant). He is such a busy man (as are all the staff) but he always keeps his cool & is very organised. He even made our napkins into shapes for us on our last night. The food this year seemed better quality & was replenished more frequently which was very welcome. There was nothing wrong with it in previous years but sometimes you had to wait for items to be refreshed which let your already plated items to get cold. I am a very picky plain eater & there was always something available for me to eat. We spent most days by the swim up pool then on to the tranquil pool once the sun had left our decking. Always loungers available at any time of day at both the main pool & the tranquil pool which is a plus point. My husband has mobility issues & the hotel is very good for him to get around & when we left in the evenings & he required his wheelchair, it is very accessible as is the whole of Sa Coma. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, it's very clean, all staff are friendly & will do anything to help you make your holiday special.

Had a lovely stay here, the rooms were extremely clean and very spacious was very impressed. No sunbed wars! Who made our experience was Honza the new entertainment staff. He was absolutely amazing and made all the activities very enjoyable and went above and beyond to make it special. Thank you very much!!!
