Protur Safari Park

Hotel was 4 star ,i would say 3 star. Hotel was clean but our room was only cleaned three times in the week. Toilet rolls seem to be a problem never leave any. Sheets were not changed in a week. We were charged £42 E tax once we arrived and 14E for safe deposit for a week. Beach towels are 10E a week and are not changed this 10E must be cash but the 10E returned when you return them. The hotel provided good entertainment on an evening. The beach is around 20 minutes away walking. The dinning room is like a café , the food is ok but no staff monitoring or serving the food . There is a children's area for food the ice-cream is sometimes so frozen it is impossible to scoop it out.

I just wanted to leave an honest review ab this 4 stars hotel. First of all reception ladies are not very smiley” smiley” and nobody will help you with the luggages when you check in. Considering that I travelled with my mom and little daughter I was expecting them at least to ask if we need help with the luggages and show us where the room is located. Another minus “- “ i think it is the fact that no water jugs on the tables and you have to go 1000 times to the water dispenser where is usually always a que. Mocktails are more ice rather than juice. Entertainment for children is every evening the same. On a plus… the rooms are clean,the food is nice and very clean the hotel itself. We were lucky to not get the bug” ,had with us wipes and sanitising gel also . The pools are lovely,music and everybody is having a great time. We had a good time but small details make the diff! A smile” a hello” and not a bitter” face matters a lot in a hospitality business! Per all we had a good time and the fact that was clean and the food was good is all that matters!

Once again another fantastic stay at Safari Park Hotel. We have stayed several times before both with family and as a couple and have enjoyed every stay. Every member of staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel caters for families adn couples and has enough facilities to keep everyone happy. It is close to the beach and shops and you can walk along the promenade to S’illot and beyond or in the other direction walk to Cala Millor and Cala Bona. Bus stops are close by if you want to visit Palma, The Caves of Drach and other places. If you want to stay in a spotlessly clean, well run family friendly hotel with friendly, helpful staff, good food and facilities then look no further. We will be back again in October.

Kids Club at hotel is very dangerous, avoid!!! To all parents please read below The TUI kids club which is not part of the hotel had proper procedures such as sign in / out and takes photos of parents. However we were informed that we could not use this kids club as we were not part of the TUI group, but had booked direct with the hotel. We were told that we had to use the other kids club in which there was no sign or out procedures for our 4 and 6 year old which we thought was strange. On the second day we left our kids at the kids club only to find them wandering around outside on their own looking for us beside the deep pool as the club let them leave on their own. We informed the manager of the hotel and she said that the kids club was sub contracted out and not ran by the hotel directly and she arranged a meeting with the supervisor of the kids club. He stated that this had never happened before, yet on the two occasions we used it there were no sign in / out procedures or supervision of our kids. When we found our kids alone walking by themselves we were shocked and mortified!!! The supervisor said he had 5 hotels to look after in the complex and he couldn't be everywhere at the same time, which we thought was a shocking statement to say. I told him that you can't make mistakes with kids safety. We did not use the kids club for the rest of the holiday as we were very concerned about their safety in such an environment. We asked the hotel manager who was responsible if an issue arose to which they did not know the answer as the club was contracted out to a company. We asked for the club guidelines to which there was none available that we could read. The hotel should take responsibility to ensure the safety of minors. There was no further action taken from the hotel and they took no responsibility. There should be proper training for the staff to ensure minors are safe.

Great location, short stroll (10mins) to the beach and shops. just under and hour to the airport via private transfer. Hotel had a lovely atmosphere, great first impression, clean and airy, modern but comfortable decor. The rooms were great, our Aircon worked well. We got a camp bed in the bed room so all the family slept in the bedroom. The beds on the room are quite big, 2 of them are definitely wider than a std double, My only bug bear was no sink in the kitchenette and no clean dishes daily. very hard to properly clean mugs. I thought it was excellent value and the AI options were fantastic. We enjoyed the food, the drink etc. Staff we all so friendly and great with the children. There is so much to do there, pools for all sizes. I would recommend bringing a wetsuit if travelling when temps are only early 20s and pools are chillier. Waterpark was a fun day out, we didn't eat there but my son (4) loved the pool area. We ate at the Asian restaurant and it was fab. The white wine on tap was lovely. Rooms were quite sound proof I thought, we were towards back of hotel. I would 100% go again. For kids I think up to ages 12 are catered for really well, but teens might get a bit bored after few days of pool etc.
