Protur Safari Park

I honestly loved my stay at the Protur Safari Park Hotel. From the cleanliness of the hotel to its lovely location, everything made for such a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The whole place has a wonderful atmosphere, and I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. I’ve stayed in quite a few places, but this is my favourite place, I will definitely be revisiting next year. The food can be a little repetitive but there is a lot of variety. Great place for kids to go. I would highly recommend the Protur Safari Park Hotel.

I know it's a real stupid reason however. every holiday I've ever been on has had a a supply of tuna and other items that aren't available here and it is horrible as I am somebody who has autism and is an extremely picky eater. Meaning I just had to spend all of my money at the shop buying food so that I didn't go hungry because I couldn't eat was in the restaurant I mean if you don't mind trying new foods this hotel could be for you. However, it's just not what I was expecting It definitely isn't all that quiet either as whenever I was in my room I could hear my neighbours screaming, their children banging and dragging stuff. But again, this might just be because I'm autistic and I can hear things a bit better than everyone else

Decided to stay here for 3 nights after a Cruise. The check in and reception staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable with kettle, fridge and microwave. Only downside was no milk, coffee or tea. You to pay for the use of the safe. The buffet restaurant was to a high standard with plenty of choice. We also used the Italian restaurant and felt it was very rushed as they had 2 sittings. In October there is only the outside bar and no inside bar. The entertainment was OK. The TUI rep in the hotel was brilliant and very helpfull. The hotel is very family orientated with lots of kids. Next time we would perhaps look at a hotel with not as many families. Overall the stay was good.

Location wise the hotel is in a good place, near bus stops, shops, restaurants, bars and the beach - incredibly convenient . The rooms get cleaned often, it’s worth noting do not disturb doesn’t work for cleaners tho lol. the food is what you’d expect for an all inclusive andIt’s got a few pools obviously no deep ones as it’s predominantly children - however… (less the hotels fault but definitely a problem!) it is full of screaming children. I have been on lots of all inclusive holidays and understand that sometimes there’s no getting around it but I have never been to a place where children are left to just run round, drop equipment in the food area such as publicly used spatulas, run and bump into people holding glasses, scream and hang round the stage even after the mini disco, it’s unavoidable, so perfect if you do have a screaming child you won’t be alone if you have children over the age of 10 then I’d reccomend going else where.

Firstly must say the Staff are very friendly and helpful. Although Tui Assistance had told us they would request a room on a lower floor they didn't have any knowledge of this, we had been allocated a 4th floor thankfully they reallocated us to a room on the same floor as Reception which was great. Yes, there are alot of screaming 😱 children. My biggest concern is that so many Parents do not watch their children they walk around the dining room with glasses for drinks some no older than about 3 years, in their hands bumping into people. The evening entertainment really was taken over by children who where running around in front of the stage until late at night. No Parental control, Don't get we wrong we like seeing kids enjoying themselves, it's a family Hotel we had been at this Hotel 3 years ago the same week but did not experience this.. We did find the area around the pool wasn't cleaned, cigarette butt's around the sun beds. We also found the food always only warm and not hot, never saw a chef use a thermometer to test. Plenty of variety, so something for everyone. Do think there are many things that could be improved on. Unfortunately the paper cups leak so need to double up. Perhaps consider using a reusable tumbler for 1 euro as we have found in other Tui Hotels and use paper for children and certainly not glass. When the entertainment had to be in doors, great alternative but you could not move for prams or pushchairs if there had been and emergency it would have been very difficult to get out safely. Please don't take my comments as negative it is meant to be constructive. This could be a wonderful Hotel, has beautiful grounds but a little bit of thought and a few tweaks could make it enjoyable for everyone. Poll H.
