Riu Festival

Lovely hotel and 99.9 % of staff were lovely I asked one lady who was cleaning if i could put my dirty coffee pot on her trolley as the lady the day before took it but she refused and told me to take it down myself, thats the only thing all the other staff work extremely hard to make your stay enjoyable, my sleep was poor as I found the bed hard but I understand everybody is different, I would definately stay again but in the summer months

Checkin was very smooth with our room ready for us. The room was spotless with a large bathroom and side sea view from the balcony. The restaurant food was lovely and did get busy at times. However, the staff made sure we were always seated very quickly. We were two couples but managed to always sit together at breakfast and our evening dinner. The food choice is vast, cooked fresh in front of you and always had a speciality dish and carvery on every night. The food cannot be faulted. The bar area was large but never got over crowded even when the evening artists were on. The one thing that makes this place special is the staff. Reception, cleaning staff, bar and restaurant staff were so nice, friendly and attentive. The manager was always there as well to great all customers at dinner with a warm welcome and a hello. He also recognised repeat customers and this was a lovely gesture. You can use two other hotels, RIU Concordia and RIU San Francisco which are close by and are lovely too. Can’t wait to visit again in the future.

We had a very enjoyable stay.The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the resort was well maintained. Food and drinks were good with plenty of variety, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay at RIU again.

This hotel runs like clockwork. The staff are all so efficient and polite. The choice and quality of food at breakfast and dinner is top class. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Riu Festival in late November and despite being out of season, it was still a very popular hotel. The staff where lovely apart from one bar staff member who seemed to relish in ignoring me, sent me to reception to pay for the bill and then I was sent back. Getting a round of drinks seemed virtually impossible and after waiting 45 minutes between drinks we just left. The internet was also very interesting and worked for the most part though unreliable. Food was nice and the buffet was varied and tasty.
