Amazing hotel , spotless, fantastic staff, amazing facilities, wonderful food and as did the actvties available everything from yoga to kayaking included was just outstanding . My new special place I hope to be back very soon 🥰

Beautifully refurbished hotel. Tasteful decor using high quality materials. Excellent facilities and available activities including gym, yoga, padel, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming pool/sun club, rooftop terrace/bar and restaurant in a separate building across the road. Comfortable beds, excellent shower. We were received with genuine warmth by Maria on reception. Our suite had a spectacular view across the swimming pool to the harbour. Portocolom is a very special place combining a traditional fishing village with modern amenities. The restaurant serves high quality hot and cold food, some of which is freshly cooked while you wait. However, the selection doesn’t change much and tries to satisfy a too-wide range of tastes. This could be improved. We ate out several times to give some variety to our evening meals.

We came for a weeks half board at the end of September and for what we paid we were more than happy with the experience. Firstly the staff throughout were friendly and couldnt do enough for us when required, the reception staff went above and beyond when trying to source us some milk. The restaurant staff were excellent, my wife is a coeliac and we informed the hotel before our arrival and the chef and staff walked her through the choice of food avalaible to her and provided GF desserts most evenings. The food at both breakfast and evening were of a very good quality with plenty of choice, we never struggled and the wine on offer was very nice, especially for the price. I think we must have had a newly renovated room (324), it was quiet, bright, clean, airy and very comfortable, no issues with the room, cleaning was ok. The general areas were clean and well presented, the coffee bar could be put to more use in the evening as this is a lovely area but not utilised. The main pool was lovely, never a rush to get a sunbed and the double sunbeds were the most comfortable we have ever used, Pool area was clean and the live music was pitched perfectly without being intrusive. The pool bar area could do with more staff, mainly to clean and tidy up, a nice area but plates, glasses seemed to be dumped around the side by the sofas which is a shame as a nice place to sit and never saw a cleaner around the pool once it opened, so food on the floor sat there all day. Activities were great, easy to book and a lot of fun, well worth trying as much as you can. Roof top bar was ok, service again was slow but whos rushing on holiday. Gym was functional, there is an empty space that will hopefully be used for more equipment but served its purpose. Overall we wanted a chilled adult holiday and we got it, we would have no hesitation at coming back and we will.

First things first. I want to comment on how lovely the pool area/ reception is of this hotel. Clean, modern, welcoming and the pool area has big comfy beds which were always available. The roof top pool is also great, really nice touch again clean modern and amazing views. However …. The hotel as soon as you pass reception. Does NOT look like the pictures, our room 615. Smelt terrible. On night 2 of our stay we told reception about this awful sewage smell which was coming from the air con. They told us the hotel was full and we could not be moved, which was surprising as the pool was never full. We were told a technical team member would come up, we had a cleaner arrive who cleaned the bathroom, not what we asked for , we appreciated it how we this was not the problem was ?. We have read another review who had the same problem In this room a few weeks ago , the room looks rushed it’s missing storage, there’s cracks all around the door frame and needs some TLC. The room was cleaned daily but only sort of made the bed cleaned ? We didn’t get replenished of any tea or coffee etc, a plate was left in our room for 2 days. And the bed was only half made. Opposite is a social club which had loud music playing Saturday night late on which we could hear through the glass, which we tried to keep open for the smell of the air con been so bad …. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were all great and friendly, we checked the activity list and half the days the activities which were stated were not even on? Pool games , pool Pilates. Sax round the pool, we didn’t see any of this, Again I want to comment on how nice the pool area and reception are, aswell as the gym and the breakfast bar it’s all really clean and modern and felt very luscious but we were let down, the lifts are really small and old, the only way I can describe it is past reception the hotel really lets itself down the room did not feel welcoming it was dark and we hardly spent any time in here. Our clothes started to smell like the smell coming out of the air con… it’s really not what you want when your away, we didn’t look forward to coming back to the room at all during our stay and only slept and then stayed out all the time. The area is nice but very quiet only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance. Reccomend a car to go to Cala dor and other areas. Probably would not stay again due to our issues during our stay.

Stayed for 5 nights in September. Payed for a deluxe room with a seaview, didnt get a seaview nor a deluxe room. The room was small and the aircon was hit and miss. The TV didn’t work and the rain showerhead was broken. The bed was comfy though! We spoke to reception about moving rooms but were told that they were fully booked so they couldn’t… quite disappointing but we just tried to spend very minimal time in the room. The location was convinient and very close to cala marcal beach, which was stunning. 17euros for 2 sunbeds, brolly and safe for the day. Handful of restaurants around and the bus to Cala D’or was only 15 minutes long. We went to the posta skybar one evening and didn’t return again, we went at 22:15 and the place closes at 00:00. We ordered 2 cocktails and before the drinks even arrived, a waitress came over with the bill and the card machine stating they were preparing to close, so we had to pay? The music was turned off at 22:30 and the staff were putting the chairs and cushions away at 22:30. The whole atmosphere was disappointing. The pool area was the only pure positive, comfy sunbeds, sunbed QR codes for ordering drinks and food and the pool was refreshing with stunning views.
