Avoid avoid avoid!!! Blackpool in the sun!!!! Never again, rooms not up to standard, loose electric wires hanging near light fittings, maintenance works going in throughout the day which was not notified ore visit...staff awful don't want to know when you raise an issue.

Worst hotel.we've ever stayed in. Very run down and the food is terrible. We had to queue for 30 mins for the buffet dinner tonight - and the food is awful, always the same... It was like a prison camp. Not exactly a pleasant holiday.

We visited this complex as a large family with many autistic children . The complex is huge with lots of space and swimming pools surrounded by sun loungers , some of which are due for renewal as are clearly worn out but we did not struggle to find a sun lounger when needed. The kids really enjoyed the pools which cater for all age ranges and were really good , the slides are the real star of the complex There are three onsite restaurants and separate snack bars. The snack bars serve nuggets and chips , hamburgers and hot dogs and hot and cold drinks throughout the day . The food is standard quality but the kids enjoyed them daily The restaurants offer buffet style food , the queues can be quite long but the staff work hard to clean empty tables so it’s not hard to find a seat . The food quality was mixed , some good , some bad , breakfast was the best meal for me and I would give food overall a 2/5 The bedrooms were satisfactory but not brilliant , we stayed in a one bed apartment which had two beds pushed together in the bedroom and a sofa bed which turned into a double bed , a small kitchenette with two burner hob and a fridge with a small freezer that didn’t work . Nice sized balcony for two adults to sit but not anyone else so kids stayed indoors. My main problem is that the door could not be locked from inside . There is a barrel lock that prevents someone entering the room with a keycard but anyone already inside can very easily open the door by pulling down the handle . This is very dangerous when with autistic children who like to wander off . We found that we had to barricade the door of a night to prevent small children leaving the apartment . This could be an easy fix for the hotel The other main issue I have is that although all inclusive the main entertainment of an evening such as bouncy castles trampolines and cocktails had to be paid for . You will need money if you stay at this complex despite it being all Inclusive . The out on entertainment was not very good and was dated and repetitive , we did not watch this on any night. The complex is quite isolated from sa coma itself and the onsite shops charge extra for convenience , there is a carrefour supermarket within 20 mins walk. Overall I was disappointed with more things than I enjoyed in this holiday . I think the description needs to be updated to properly reflect things such as extra charges so people Know what to expect . We also visited Delaney’s bar whilst away and this was awful , service was slow , music was bad - abba tribute and again it is very isolated Would I revisit this complex - probably not without severe upgrades being done Overall 3/5 hotel and pools good but need serious upgrading to even be 3 star

Absolutely terrible place. We are still here, half-way through our holiday, and see our experience (broken down by section) below. Food We had an absolute shock on the first evening, after our arrival. The food served was not suitable for consumption (see our photos). The cucumbers were off, so was the pineapple. There was a 'chef' grilling chicken and some bits were clearly raw - grilled on both sides but completely pink on the sides. The tomatoes with cheese looked like someone had thrown up all over them. The cold meat was brown and hard from sitting out for so long (see picture). We complained to TUI about this, and they told us that 'food was subjective and no one else had complained'. As I am writing this, we are now on our fourth day, and the food hasn't improved much. Breakfast is fine, lunch at the grill is fine (not great - but that's to be expected of all inclusive buffets), but then there are parts which are shocking: we keep seeing off vegetables. The 'grill' restaurant only serves very dry burnt frankfurters and (horrible) burguers in the evening - apart from the leftover bacon (not bacon - fried ham) from breakfast. Queues for meals at all restaurants are undescribable - like queing for food at a school canteen. Not a pleasant experience. Last night there was a power cut in the Piazetta restaurant in the middle of dinner. Everyone kept queing using their mobile foods to see the food, and the chefs kept cooking using their mobile phones too... No one wanted to leave and queue at the other (disgusting) restaurants, I suppose - we didn't either. Accommodation & Facilities The hotel is very, very run down. Paint peeling all over the place, no water pressure, the water temperature in the shower keeps changing from cold to burning hot. In the first night, we had stained bedsheets - not what you want to see when you're trying to get 3 small children to bed after a long day and a 7am flight... We were in a room facing the entertainment stage so we had to put up with the LOUD music until 23:00... with a very tired 4, and 10 year old, desperate to go to sleep after waking up at 5am to catch the flight over. To be fair, we asked to move rooms the next day and the hotel arranged it promptly. The kids like the waterpark; it's the only reason why we're still here - no options really. Having said that, there are not enough eating facilities, resulting in long queues. 'Entertainment' is what you'd expect - nothing to write home about, but pretty standard for this kind of resort. Constant long queues at all the bars to get drinks throughout the day. They're not necessarily short staffed, but staff are veeeery slow. Beach transfer The hotel is 20 mins walk from the beach. There is a pretty shuttle bus with a wee gem of a driver that does transfers 10 to 12.30 and 1:45 to 17:45 - the kids love it. However, there are always too many people for this one single bus, so you might have to wait 30 minutes or so (like we did yesterday) to go to the beach. It's definitely not ideal. Wi-fi Technically there is wi-fi... but there isn't really wi-fi. The upload speeds are around 0.39mbs (see picture). It takes about 15-20 seconds to even download a normal webpage. No wi-fi signal inside our room or at the reception (!!!). I had to walk around the complex and find a spot with better signal... and that's where I have to use wi-fi. Beyond shocking for the 21st century. TUI customer support Responded quickly, but were dismissive and patronising. In the end, they offered us £50 as compensation... which equates to £1 per person per day (family of 5). It was so absurd that we didn't even bother to reply.

Had fantastic 2 weeks stay here entertainment all day and Ngt team are fantastic my wee boy absolutely loved it and will definitely be back
