I was both skeptical and nervous prior to my visit because of some of the bad reviews, but can honestly say we have had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean, the food is nice (especially for 3 star!) and the staff are lovely. There are 2 x water parks for the kids, one water park for adults, a large main pool, a deep pool, a baby pool and a splash park. My only minus point is the main evening show does not start until 10pm, finishing at 11pm(ish) which is a tad late for my daughter (2YO) and sometimes caused disturbances. That said however, we will certainly be booking again! Please don’t be put off by the bad reviews, as people only tend to leave a review when they are unhappy!

Nothing around the hotel at least 20-25 minute walk to beach but the there is a free bus. Atmosphere in the main show are is not great and as the night goes on it doesn’t get better I think there are a few reasons for this Most all inclusive holidays I’ve been to are indeed ALL INCLUSIVE not slightly I spoke to one man in the tent that had 4 kids with him and he was spending up to £220 per night between the trampolines and other things then he said that he had been waiting up to an hour for a drink by the bar so as you can imagine it put people in a bad mood In the days by the pool there’s a bar right beside the pool but you have to pay but there’s no que and even if it was it’s got a great shade or you can go to the other one which is not that far away but you can wait anything from 35-45 minutes then get served by the most ignorant staff I have ever met and before anyone asks yes I always say please and thank you There’s a self serve beside that bar that is normally run out so only soda water and no ice Another day when I did get served I asked for a beer he just muttered without looking at me “ no none ready “ I asked what the problem was he told me to go and pay The rooms are ok but shabby the curtain had all holes the desks type thing was like an old school desk all scratch marks And the mosquitos are everywhere my wife has an infection from the bites

Honest review of a 7 night stay 17th-24th sept. The best thing about Globales Bouganvilla was definitely the splash park. Our 3-year-old absolutely loved it and could have spent all day there, which was a huge positive for us as a family. We spent most our time around the splash park and never struggled for a sun bed. However, the state of the sun beds were not good, they looked like they could do with a good clean some even replaced. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the cleaners came in every day to make the beds and freshen everything up, so no complaints there. We had a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living area. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable for me. I regularly woke up during the night with dead arms. There was also no internal lock on the door so our 3 year old could just go up to the door and open it without turning a lock or a latch. The door was only locked from the outside. Our son stayed on the sofa bed and we had to stack things in front of the door in case he opened it during the night. The balcony door was the same no lock at all on it just a handle. The food was probably the biggest disappointment. I’d describe it as pretty average, with not a huge amount of choice. There was also flies in all 3 restaurants. The queues were also ridiculous at times — we were waiting up to 30 minutes for food, which isn’t ideal when you’ve got a young child who is hungry and impatient! The queues at the bars in the evening were just as bad. There were four service areas/pumps, but often only two members of staff serving. We ended up buying a bottle of rum from the shop and drinking that as I was fed up queueing. The queues did start to die down towards the end of the week so it’s clearly more of an issue in the summer months. Our son loved the kids entertainment, mainly the mini disco. He also enjoyed the lion king show one night. We didn’t stay for many of the shows as they didn’t start until around 10pm. We walked to the beach a few times which is around a 20 min walk. The beach is lovely. There is also a small bus that the hotel provides to take you to the beach. We did this once. The bus gets very full. One final thing is the situation with ice cream. The only ice cream available on the all inclusive is the little pots. If you want a normal ice cream or ice lolly then you have to go to the bar or shop and pay for them. Overall we did enjoy our stay and we made the most of it. For us, the splash park really saved the holiday. Sa coma itself is lovely and the beach is fantastic. We would definitely go back to Sa Coma but unfortunately the Globales Bouganvilla isn’t a hotel we would return to.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our daughter was a little sad that she couldn’t use all of the water slides because she is still too young, but apart from that, everything was great. We really liked the facilities, the atmosphere, the food, and the accommodation. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would be happy to come back again.The location was very good. A little train runs to the beach, so getting there was easy and convenient. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful.

All round excellent value for money. The room was a little dated but very clean and the cleaners came every day. Good choice of food in all 3 restaurants but flies are something of a problem in the BBQ restaurant. Difficult to address as the doors are always open. The queue at the pool bar is sometimes large, perhaps reintroducing the self service lager pumps would help with this? It is manageable but sometimes stressful for the hard working bar staff. Entertainment was good overall mainly geared to families which is what the resort is all about. We went as an older couple and ventured out on a couple of occasions for more grown up entertainmen but thoroughly enjoyed our nights on site apart from the smokers. More responsible adults went away from the families to smoke outside, many others just didn’t care and lit up wherever they were sat.
