THB Cala Lliteras

The location is superb, the best part of the resort. Quiet and the view from the front of the hotel is stunning down to the sea. The rooms are lovely. The food is great. The downside for us was the customer service. We arrived after delays and 12 hour trip and missed the evening meal as it was 10pm. We were told to wait 40 minutes when we could then go to the restaurant and get food. A plated salad was given to us. A few lettuce leaves, 2 tomatoes, 2 small strips of ham, 2 small pieces of cheese and a croquette. We were also given a small glass of water. The shops had just shut so couldn’t purchase any more. An awful first impression. There was no greetings going through reception at any time. The cleaners never spoke. There is no bar in the restaurant so you had to sit and wait to be served before going for your meal otherwise you had finished before it arrived. This took 10-15 minutes, I would hate to be there in the summer with more guests. The customer service is poor but this hotel was predominantly German.

TERRIBLE. The air conditioners DO NOT WORK and when you complain to the front desk, they give you a runaround and send a technician up to the room who tells you that the AC has got to be set for AUTO which simply means the fan turns on only when the refrigeration unit is operating. AND OF COURSE, THE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. You will sweat like a horse all night long and if you are on a Cycling trip, that means you get no sleep. They also charge you an arm and a leg for even water at the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing sea view! Very peaceful and perfect for couples. Within walking distance of many nice beaches and Cala Ratjada for good restaurants. Lunchtime food from the food truck was very nice. Also got upgraded to a swim up room with a peaceful private pool which was great. My one complaint would be that the bed was 2 singles which wasn’t ideal for a couple and even when made into a double you’re still falling down the crack! Aside from that amazing would 100% return

The good : The staff are very nice, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is just a few meters from the beach. Down by the reception it is really cool, which was appreciated to be greeted by when you had been out in the heat. The people working at the reception are incredibly nice and service-oriented. The bad: There is a strong smell of chlorine (other detergents) around the entire hotel, which was disturbing in general but especially when eating food. The toilets at the hotel are beyond criticism. The sink was barely cleaned. The shower hose had stains on it from previous visitors. The toilet brush had not been changed since the previous visitors either. You only get a mini hand soap and you can forget about the hotel's shampoo and body gel. You leave the shower feeling even dirtier than when you went in. The shampoo is not replaced and thus collects in a lump at the bottom of the bottle. Both breakfast and dinner were a big disappointment. The dining room has no windows, cold light everywhere and again, the smell of chlorine. The food is presented without creativity, more of a feeling that something was done quickly just to get it done as quickly as possible. Some dishes are good but overall poor selection. The desserts taste synthetic and industrial. Plates and glasses are NOT CLEAN. Found food residue on most of them, so had to check every one to find an acceptable one before I started eating. If you want water with your food, it costs money. I was shocked when the staff informed me. The same applies if you just want a glass with ice, it costs money. Overall poor quality, both the cleanliness and the food. I didn't feel that anything stood out as extraordinary and it is absolutely not worth the money.

Fabulous hotel, the staff were very friendly and the location is excellent. We would definitely go back, perfect break and highly recommend
