Excellent hotel located in a good central position to the beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and bus stops. Beautiful pool area with snack bar. Rooms spacious and very clean. Good choice food in the restaurant for both breakfast and lunch. Staff very helpful and speak excellent English. Would recommend this hotel..

My pool view room was good, but not 100% clean on arrival. I finished it myself. It was a free upgrade from a standard room that I was grateful for.  If you don't buy a pool view room, don't bother as the outlook of other rooms is not nice overlooking a car repairs business or wasteland.  The room safes are chargeable.  The walls are paper thin, you can hear next door very clearly.  The Shower was good but the bathroom dated. The shower head holder was facing the dated plastic shower door so the bathroom flooded. I held the shower head in my hand to stop this.  All the staff were all nice and helpful and reception staff seemed used to responding to the concerns I raised, ref the air con noise and "fridge" issues below.  The pool, and pool area are nice, sunbeds ok, and lots of parasols, but the road noise spoils it, it's pretty loud and non stop, there is no peace, which I assume those staying at an adult only hotel want.  The room air con worked ok but it was very noisy, I was told at reception I could change my room but they all have noisy aircon. I stayed put. The "Fridge" was a little cooler than room temp but not cold, I was advised by the manager it's a minibar cooler and not a refrigerator to keep food or milk fresh etc, so if you don't mind warm drinks, sour milk etc it's not a problem. PS it's not a mini bar it is an mini refrigerator, that does not have any drinks in at all.  I had to ask for a kettle and cup as there are none as standard in the rooms. I was given a brand new kettle.  The light on the balcony is permenantly on from sunset until  23:00 so it shines in your room, and it felt like there's no privacy on the balcony, all of the other residents and passing public can see you under the very bright lights, you can't turn it off. This hotel is in a very very noisy location directly on the busiest main road in and out of town, so having your balcony door open, sitting out on balcony or by the pool is not a peaceful experience to relax if noise effects you.  The bar and restaurant were nice and clean, beer was an average price, the food was 7/10 on the times I visited and I would say it was good value.  I'm sorry to say I would not stay here again based upon my experience above, although all of the staff were nice.

Our room was modern with a balcony and air con but looked directly onto a car mechanic garage so no privacy. Location is corner of busy crossroads, always use the crossings and when leaving back gate there is hardly any pavement on the corner and lorries and buses cut the corner making it very close. Lots of loud road noise. Pool could be cleaner, lots of dead flies and bugs floating and green around the top of the pool, although I did see them try to wipe it off every morning. Rooms could have been cleaner. Maids do bare minimum and you have to leave towels on floor to get clean ones, sheets weren't changed in a week. They have cut the frills out completely at this hotel. No kettle in room. Small fridge. They don't allow your own drinks or snacks around the pool. The Manager was very annoyed and showed it when I asked for a couple of ice cubes. We had bought drinks at the bar earlier and he never asked what it was for (swelling) stomped about shouting "it's not fair, we have to buy these and you buy your own drinks", throwing arms about, obviously hit a nerve there. Not professional. We never spent a penny in the Hotel after that but went to one just down the road towards the beach where they were very welcoming. No English guests in Hotel other than us, predominantly german. Don't think the Manager would have said that to a bunch of 6'4" germans but lone older english female was easy target for him to vent and show off. Food was adequate. I found breakfast was better than evening meal. Breakfast 8-10 but they stop replenishing at 9.30am so slim pickings after that. Similarly with evening meal 7-9 but 8.30pm not much left. Not allowed own drinks with evening meal, have to buy theirs. They even cover up the water dispenser and you can't take your own bottle of water in. They won't take payment at evening meal so beware you get big bill when checking out, so keep a note of what you have because by the end of a week/fortnight it could be wrong. We had dry evening meals as refused to pay another penny to the Hotel after the ice cube debarcle. The whole resort area is mainly German. Beach was 10 min walk over the busy road and very shallow and sandy, good for kids but gets very crowded. Couple of nice Beach bar/restaurants. We had good time but won't be returning and wouldn't recommend Hotel.
