THB El Cid

Just back from a lovely stay at the El Cid. Hotel was always spotless and staff were friendly and helpful. We paid extra during the booking for a nicer room and we were over looking the pool and the sea which was gorgeous. Breakfast was probably the best for selection we have ever had from pastries, cooked, Hams, cheeses, fruits, cereals, breads, pancakes and more. The 'egg' chef was great. Fresh omelettes of your choice and how you wanted it cooked. We managed to get our sunbeds easily on the 2 occasions we wanted them, but we noticed there were a party of 3 that had a total of 9 sunbeds in 3 different positions and staff were not interested. The only day they seemed bothered and to be honest that was only the life guard and that was when the big boss was there . I am not racist in the slightest and i am absolutely aware us brits can be a pain to put up with, but some nationalities there were so very rude and thought everyone else there were a lower level than them. They had what they wanted, when they wanted but that would be any hotel . There are Plenty of shops and restaraunts as soon as you come out of the hotel. Beautiful beach directly opposite, but 2 beds and an umbrella will set you back €30. There is a land train that stops near the hotel and I believe it was €5 pp, we enjoyed that but it was very bumpy and a few of us jolted our backs when they had to slam on which was quite often so be mindful with little ones. We are the type of couple that dont like visiting the same places twice, but if we were we would definitely come back to this hotel

Solo trip to Mallorca. I absolutely love this hotel and its staff. The hotel is right on the beach. The pools get the sun all day and the bar service is excellent. The hotel was minutes away from the airport via taxi! Good points; -Cocktails/drinks selection ✅ -2 towels in room to use at poolside ✅ -Regular towels in room for shower/bath ✅ -Air con ❄️ -TV ✅ -Kettle ✅ -Hairdryer ✅ -Safe (I didn’t feel the need to rent as the hotel feels very safe and trust worthy) ✅ -Close to beach and local restaurants ✅ -DJ playing 80s and hits in the evening ✅ I loved being able to watch the planes land and take off from the airport. I did not mind the noise the planes made due to this. Suggestion from me (30 year old) - Play some low volume music around one of the pools in the day time. Was nice and quiet but could have had something in the background. I just used my headphones in this situation as I was solo traveling. Overall a brilliant hotel, super clean and attentive staff. I would stay again.

Just returned from a short 5 night stay at the El Cid and we loved the place. We arrived late around midnight and received a lovely warm greeting from Denis on reception who gave us all the info we needed for our stay and was really helpful and informative. Our room was a partial sea view on 2nd floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was modern, fresh, clean and had a fantastic waterfall shower. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was outstanding with something for everyone both hot and cold offerings. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hotel overlooks a lovely sandy beach with 2 pools one at the front and one at the rear of the hotel. Both pool areas are stunning and there were plenty of sunbed availability throughout the day every day. Every single staff member we engaged with was super polite and friendly and we will definitely come back to this adult only hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay

We had a wonderful couples stay, I had emailed before going to ask if I couple purchase a bottle of champagne before I arrived, this was in the room when we arrived. The reception staff work incredibly hard so please be patient with wait times. We arrived early we dropped bags in a . Secure room until our room was ready. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful the shower 10/10. The cleaning staff are incredible. The breakfast had something for everyone. Fresh omelets or eggs cooked to order. The coffee station guy is amazing. He knew my order every time I returned. The pool bar staff are constantly walking around to help with drinks. All super friendly. Outside of the hotel lots of amazing restaurants to eat in a really short walk away. The whole area felt safe and secure and very family oriented. I will absolutely return.

Stayed here with my sister for a childfree little break away. The hotel is directly across from the beach and the views are gorgeous. There’s shops and restaurants on either side of the hotel with the marina to the right side as you leave. Bus stops are directly behind the hotel, and it’s 2 euro cash or card directly into Palma. We had an early flight out and arrived at the hotel before lunchtime. We checked in, and were able to access our room which was amazing. We had a sea view room, stunning views. Room was comfy and spacious, the shower was amazing 10/10. On the day we checked out we were able to store our luggage for our late afternoon flight and headed out, when we got back there’s changing facilities with showers downstairs in the wellness areas and towels . Wonderful to freshen up and change before your flight. We stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast was incredible. There’s a manned coffee bar to order drinks along with Prosecco to alongside the usual drink options. Food options were plentiful with so many hot and cold options alongside eggs and omelettes cooked to order. We didn’t eat at the hotel otherwise, but did have drinks outside a couple of nights. Drink prices were really reasonable. There’s two pools, one at the front with the gorgeous beach views and then a garden pool at the back which has day beds as well as loungers. Pool towels are provided by the hotel. There’s no sun bed wars, we never struggled for space at various times. Both pools were calm, it’s an adults only hotel but I’d say the age range of other guests was mostly older and helped with the chilled vibes.
