THB Gran Bahia

We had a standard, street facing room, for 3 nights. Whilst we were initially disappointed with the street facing room that soon passed as the sun is on these balconies, whereas sea facing rooms were in shade. We went is early April so may be different in the summer. Room was comfortable and had all amenities, shower was fabulous. We did B&B and was one of the best breakfasts, catered for all tastes. Pool area was small so could imagine this getting very busy in height of summer. The hotel had only opened for the season on day we arrived and it was clear all amenities weren’t set up, and they’d been bad weather so this was likely to have delayed things. However come day 3 when the temperature changed and wind died down, the hotel and town was more alive and setting up, were going to return next summer

You cannot beat the location for this price! The hotel and rooms are clean, and our room had AC and a mini fridge. It is literally on the beach, so whether you get a balcony facing the water or not, you are steps away from sand and waves. The staff were all wonderful, and the (included) breakfast was impressive.

The ceiling in the bathroom was loose it banged all Night still not fixed by the time I left also the air conditioning stopped working the shower must be on an old system it stopped every few minutes then went cold the fridge was okay small Breakfast was very basic and not great to be honest not much choice I’ve stayed in better hotels in this area I don’t know why it’s the most expensive the pool was okay needs updating got very busy The staff are friendly though and if you speak Spanish that’s a bonus I think some money could do with being put into this hotel because on the surface it looks great The only plus side is the sea view balcony room which gives you great views which I had

Just got back from a 5 day stay (half board) Staff were all lovely and friendly The location of the hotel is great The room was okay! Standard! I would have liked to have had a long mirror in the bedroom though! Also every time we have a shower the bathroom would flood! Would be nice for some slippers as the floor felt unclean! Not enough sunbeds but area was clean and lovely! Food was good! I was annoyed that we could not have free water with our meal at dinner time although we had it for breakfast!! Water is free! We got told that we wasn’t allowed to bring our own water to dinner either which made me very upset Again WATER IS WATER!

Due to personal reasons, I unfortunately had to cancel my trip and didn’t get the chance to stay at this hotel. Still, I was deeply touched by the kindness and generosity they showed me, even though they were under no obligation to do so. It truly reflects the level of service and care this hotel provides. When people go out of their way to help – without even having met you – it says everything about their values and hospitality. I’m already looking forward to rebooking in the future, and I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, family, and fellow travelers. A rare and wonderful experience of genuine human care.
