Great smaller hotel. Food was tasty. Enough options for kids and Vegetarians. There was always space at the pool. What really made the hotel was the staff! Super friendly and always helpful.

Overall, the hotel is good. The staff have been wonderful, and I would especially like to highlight the kind and attentive service provided by Angela, Ronald, and Karina. However, I am very disappointed because I booked my room in January, seven months in advance, and nowhere on the website did it explain that the studios only have views facing either the street or an interior garden that directly overlooks the loading and unloading area. Unfortunately, this was the room we were given, so we could see and hear supply trucks coming and going, as well as rubbish being collected, even in the middle of the night. We were very kindly offered a room change on the third day, once one became available, but the new room was on a lower floor and faced the street. There are not many rooms with sea or pool views, and all of those are apartments. On the other hand, the bathroom needs updating and better maintenance. The kids’ club was wonderful for our daughter, and Angela was absolutely lovely. However, the kids’ club is closed on the entertainer’s day off, as there is only one member of staff running it, even during the peak season.

This is an excellent aparthotel with on site facilities and exceptionally professional and friendly staff. The apartments are clean, well maintained and are appointed for basic food preparation. The location is excellent with fabulous beaches, snorkelling coves and nearby shops and restaurants. The marina is a reasonable walk through the town, but entirely accessible.

5-star experience 🌟. The staff were always attentive from the very first minute. The room was like something out of a movie. The facilities were perfect, super clean, and very well organized. A special thank you to the manager, Ms. Vicenta, for her personalized service; we felt right at home. 🏠 We recommend it for families, couples, and friends. We stayed at Guya Playa for a week in early May. The season had just begun and my partner got a last minute deal to surprise me for my birthday, and saved a fortune. She requested a sea view room and the hotel did not let us down, giving us the best room in the whole complex. See photos for the belting view from room 356. The bed was firm and comfortable, with spare blankets which we did need at night this early in the season. We had a complimentary bottle of water provided, shampoo and body wash and a soap bar. They also provide some cotton buds, which is a nice touch. Everyone’s ears get sandy on holiday and no one remembers to bring cotton buds. During our stay the drain in the bathroom really began to whiff. The hotel manager was in the room within the hour of us mentioning this, and had the cleaners spray some strong stuff down there which did help the problem. The smell came back a couple of times but the cleaners kept on top of it. Apparently the drains in the street had been flushed that week, so ours may not have been the only room affected by this, but it wasn’t the hotels fault. We used the Gym and the Spa/steam room a few times during our stay, this was great for us! I should also mention the hotel is in the quietest part of Cala Ratjada, with the busy strip a nice 15 minute walk away. This meant it was very quiet and peaceful - great for sleeping. Many a holiday we’ve been let down by tourist bars playing Sweet Caroline on repeat when we’ve been trying to sleep, but there’s no problem like that at Guya Playa. The staff at the hotel were super friendly, couldn’t help us enough and really quick to sort out problems. We would love to stay here again.
