TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar

Excellent holiday in a lovely location. We had a family room for our family of 4 along with my mother in law. We flew from Southend and was amazed by this lovely hotel. Ideally suited for under 10's children. An array of beautiful pools and activities for the children. Weainly stayed around the larger pool and there were plenty of sunbeds. We had a lovely time. The kids buffet really helped our son try new foods and the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. After dinner each night our son would want to go straight to Blue totts and the kids disco which was always featuring Ciara. Ciara was amazing and spoke fluent Spanish German and English making everyone feel involved and she really made the shows. Will definitely be returning!

Tui Blue Grupotel Mallorca Mar was a brilliant break for myself and my wife. We enjoyed 7 nights here last week. From start to finish the staff, food, service and general atmosphere was brilliant. We arrived after a late transfer to the hotel and checked in at around 10:30pm and having not eaten since around dinner time were both very hungry. Once checked in the lady on reception told us to go unpack, come back in 10 minutes and there would be a small cold buffet laid on for us. Considering there were only 4 of us (2 couples) checking in, there was plenty of food and drinks on offer even that late at night. Throughout the week you didnt have to worry about rushing to reserve a sunbed, we normally got to the pool area just before 10am and most of the time were nearly the first down there. I'd read lots of comments about loud noisy children and shouting all day long. This wasn't the case. You could always find a quieter spot if this was what you were looking for during the day. The food and drink was brilliant. Usually from all inclusive it is cheap and cheerful, but we found the food in the main restaurant was freshly cooked in front of you and restocked all the time, even during quieter periods. The soft drinks were mostly serve yourself which stopped you having to queue all the time. The beers, wines etc were all served to you, but again, you were only queuing for a couple of minutes at most during busy times. The evening entertainment is heavily lent towards the children, however from around 8/8:30 there is normally a family/adults show which lasts till around 10:30pm. There was also interactive mobile app fastest finger quizzes against fellow guests for all the adults to enjoy. Overall having read some comments we were very sceptical about travelling here as a couple for a relaxing week away. However, it just proves you need to try things for yourself as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% return!

Really noisy hotel. Full of babies. Never seen so many prams. We had noise constantly from 5am like dragging furniture. Ruined our holiday. Exhausted. We complained to reception tui rep. They offered another room in the same block. We complained when we got home and tui did nothing . Saying they never had any other complaints . The noisiest hotel we ever been to. Paid over £6000 for family. Ruined with the noise

A great base for a family holiday, the hotel is really geared up for families with young children and there seemed to be plenty going on both during the day and in the evenings. We were a group of four adults and a one year old and had a good time but wouldn’t come back here as a couple. The complex was clean and well maintained as were the three pool areas. We had no trouble in getting sun loungers at any time of the day but probably not so easy during school holidays. It’s a large hotel with a number of separate accommodation blocks over two main areas which were divided by a very quiet public road. We stayed in a spacious one bedroom apartment in block 7 with a partial sea view. It was well equipped although could benefit from some TLC (broken drawers and cupboard in the kitchenette). There was a separate walk in shower as well as a bath with overhead shower. The restaurant had plenty of food choices but sadly not so great for gluten free options. It was possible to order GF pasta, pizza, fries and chocolate cake but I like to eat things that I wouldn’t normally have at home so found the food choices very limiting as they pretty much all included gluten (even the Paella 😞). The only safe options were the salad bar and meat cooked on the griddle. The snack bar didn’t cater at all for GF and our experience of The Taverna restaurant wasn’t great either due to a very near miss for someone in our group who has an allergy to dairy eating food with milk in because it wasn’t listed in the allergens on the menu. If you do have food allergies make sure that you speak with Pepa in the restaurant she will sort you out! The hotel itself is a short walk from the marina in Cala Bona where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Cala Millor is a bit more of a walk but there is also a regular free bus that runs from the hotel.

We have just come home from a week here with our 2 young girls one 4 and one 12 months, we had a wonderful time there is so much for the little ones and the staff and entertainment at night is amazing my 4 year old has autism and loved the silent disco so much it made me emotional seeing her so comfortable we are gutted to be home! The only downside is the labelling of food i did try and speak to a few staff but there was a language barrier to struggled to get across about both my children's dairy allergy. One day sausages were labeled with with the day after the same ones were labbeled without. Also in the snack bar there was potatoes labeled no dairy but covered in cheese on top. We ended up buying safe foods from the supermarket and making up food in the room some evenings. Just because of the worry of miss labelled items. Other than this everything was great and is perfect for a family holiday x iv
