We stayed at this hotel from the 12th - 19th October 2025. Our initial take on the hotel was that it was impressive, a big hotel which seemed to have plenty of amenities to suit all. When we booked the holiday we chose for an extra cost the Junior Suite, and we were glad that we did.Included with this review are some photos of the room, this room had 3 sliding doors all of which opened, two of which gave access to a balcony, the other was secured in front of the door by security glass. This was a little weird, but added fresh air to the room, which meant that the aircon was not needed all the time. The room was spacious, with a walk in shower. seperate toilet, which was enclosed by privacy glass although the door was not lockable. As you will see, it had twin beds, a strange mechanism underneath the bed which was to move to clean, the bed(s) could be a little nosy when you first got in, but they were comfortable and it did not stop us sleeping really well. One thing that I liked about this hotel was that a lot of care went in to the provision of access for those with mobility/disability issues, excellent, well done the Levante. The area is flat, has a cycle lane, be aware of this because a lot of cyclists ride fast on the path, as well as electric scooters/bikes, treat it as you would a busy road, for the most part it is pedestrianised, although directly outside the hotel cars and coaches can use the road. Which is noteworthy because you coach transfer will stop outside the hotel, another plus we think. Reception and the staff, helpful, professional and friendly, no problems there. Acess to your room is served by lifts, we never had to wait long for one to show up. There are two pools one indoor and one outdoor, photo of outdoor included. And it is hear that this review takes a turn. The outdoor pool has plenty of sunbeds, problem is it is crowded and this can make it difficult to negociate. There are signs that the outdoor pool is in need of repair with some broken/cracked tiles and some raising in places, they are also a little dirty, especially when it does rain because the rain pools in places, we did not see any cleaning of the pool area during our stay. At the time we were there a lifeguard was on duty. There was also some evidence immediateley around some areas of the pool of the breaking up of concrete, repair is needed before it becomes critical. The water was cold when we were there, this did not stop us, we enjoyed the water which was refreshing, others dipped a toe and did not venture into the water. The indoor pool, also a little cold, not meant for serious swimming, jacuzzi was warmer and a nice place to realx, there is another room with tiled beds, despite the fact they were hard, it was a great place to relax, with great views, and read a book, a big let down neither the steam or sauna room where working, the latter had a sign on the door stating it was out of order, which was a shame. That brings me onto dinning, here this hotel takes a nose dive, the food is not at all very good. Drab and disappointing, repeated menus far to often of the same thing, food that had been out the night before, used in another way the next night, which is ok if it is stored correctly, but then re-heated the next night, not good for food safety or appetising, I have read other reviews that mention the poor quality of the food, and speaking to other guests they also felt that food was bland, some indeed have forgone their evening meal and eaten out, I know that if management read this they are not going to happy about it, but this was the most disappointing part of our stay here, breakfast was good, not problems there, but the evening meal was poor. So, if in the future we revisit the Levante, it will only be a bed and breakfast option, there are plenty of good reataurants around Calla Bona, sorry to end this review on a negative, personaly I dont think this hotel deserves a 4 star, a more honest appraisal would be 3 stars. We will probably not go back to this hotel, that is our choice. I hope this helps.
