A very mixed experience. We chose this hotel because of the reviews & close proximity to the beach. In hindsight we should have looked further into it. The area itself is nice but mainly caters for the German community, therefore restaurants outside the hotel were limited to German eateries. However the restaurants we did choose were amazing - La hacienda, the Spanish restaurant next to the hotel - look on trip advisor & u will find some gems. The hotel - check in was time consuming & something was mentioned about tokens that you have to give a cash deposit for, we went along with it but wasn’t sure. The lifts !!! Wow the lifts!!! Slow is an understatement they are terrible! The rooms are basic but adequate. But not something I would expect in a 4*. No drawers no kettle and have to shimmy past the bed to get to the balcony - however the cleaning was great and the rooms were ok for putting your head down. Now - the food, what a waste of an AI, we ate here twice I think then chose to eat out, we didn’t want to live off chips and pizza for a week - the food imo was just disgusting ! The tokens - we got to realise the tokens were for our drinks, u hand the token in for a glass and you get your drink, however that’s when the bar is open, it closes at 11pm then you have to pay for your drink and if you are sitting in the sports room you will get shouted at that it’s closing time (like we did although there are only seats there !!) we qued with our tokens for a drink whilst the barman was happily singing viva España to be third in the Queue for him to say closed now! If he had just got on with serving rather than messing about we could have used our AI. The pools - they are crowed and looked Unkept - we never used these but instead went to the beach so more money spent not using our AI. Evening wise there wasn’t really any entertainment the seating areas were full & it just wasn’t a nice vibe. In short the hotel is clean great location staff are mainly friendly but the food, rooms, lifts etc aren’t great, I just felt aggravated all the time I was there & wanted to get out! Needless to say another holiday has been booked to try and get that relaxed holiday feeling elsewhere. You don’t expect to save all year for a break to feel more wound up than when you left !!! Such a shame as it could be really good
Oscar is very friendly and a great member of staff!!
Lovely hotel, very big, lots of seating in different areas, friendly staff. Entertainment reps good if your German. Loved the area with beach front and enjoyed the food. But if your English you will definitely feel the minority. Room's quite small if your 3 people. Value for money was good. Very clean. Pretty noisy corridors with people talking our going in there Room's,walls a bit thin.
Location was great and the cleanliness was very good but thats as good as it gets, rooms were too small, food was mostly the same each day with not much choice for kids. No water on arrival, instead your pointed to a vending machine which costs 3 euros for a bottle. We were looking forward to using the indoor pool but was told on arrival its not open until october. The crazy golf and tennis courts were also not available. There was no atmosphere Not the best value for an all inclusive option and def not a 4* hotel.
Nice spot for a couple! The rooms are very small, only space for 2 people max! Jet2 don’t offer or provide rooms for families. So if you’re gonna book don’t go through Jet2. Specially cause there is no rep to even discuss your problems or get any information. We’ve booked the upgraded sea view room double with 12 year old child. They only just added a bed that don’t fit the room. You can’t really walk passed the tv stand and the bed without procession. The food is the same every night with one or 2 changes(epic failure) one of the worst food options I’ve been in for a 4 star hotel! Would not recommend this hotel for any families. Specially if you book through Jet 2! The tennis court and mini golf in the hotel site photos are not available. They haven’t been maintained and you’re not able to use them!
