Viva Blue & Spa

Spent a week at VIVA Blue with my wife and 3 year old, and came away feeling incredibly relaxed. We booked the selection club room, which we found the service to be excellent. Anais couldn’t have done more to help us. The team were able to address any questions we had via WhatsApp and made the effort to help my wife navigate food with her dietary needs. The rooms and facilities were well maintained, and clean. The activities and entertainment were varied and enjoyed by our 3 year old (under 4 they need to be accompanied by an adult). The hotel is very close to an exceptional beach with lifeguards and facilities. We had paid for half board and found the buffet to have a wide variety and availability. The food area was very busy, but possibly because we were visiting at times to accommodate our 3 year old (like everybody else). My wife is coeliac, and dairy free which wasn’t immediately easy to navigate, but once we had worked out the process, the chef was able to cook something fresh for her every meal time to accommodate. They also had a range of Schar packaged products available upon request. All in, had a great time and came away feeling rested from an excellent resort.

nice hotel. good for family vacation. a lot for the kids to enjoy. show on the evening with pirate disco for the kids. we are can absolutly come here again. The kids loved it. good beds. the breakfast was good.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best hotel experience we have ever had! I have travelled around the world and stayed in many 5-star hotels, but honestly, Viva Blue is in a league of its own. We spent 10 nights here on a half-board stay and I can genuinely say this has been the best hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so special. The entire complex is absolutely beautiful, immaculate and incredibly well maintained. There are around four pools, so many activities and so much for both children and adults to enjoy that you genuinely don’t need to leave the resort! Our room was beautiful and cleaned regularly. I have to give a special mention to our lovely singing cleaner — she would brighten our mornings every single day! 😂 Some mornings we would rush out to breakfast and, admittedly, leave the room looking like a tornado had been through it 😬… only to come back to it looking absolutely beautiful, with even the things we had left on the floor neatly folded. Such a small thing, but it really showed how much care the staff put into their work. And the food… WOW! 🤤 This was honestly my favourite part of the whole stay. The choice was unbelievable and everything was delicious. There was so much to choose from that I actually wish we had another 10 days just so I could try everything! 😂 The entertainment every evening was phenomenal. There is genuinely something for everyone, and we were never bored. Our son is an only child, and one of the things that touched us most was how included he was. Staff would come and ask him to join in with games and activities, and he absolutely loved it. He especially loved the pool inflatables and the bouncy activity, and he had so much fun playing football with the staff from the football department. Seeing him so happy and included made this holiday incredibly special for us. The lifeguards were always attentive and seemed constantly aware of what was happening around the pools, which gave us real peace of mind. I personally loved the aqua aerobics — although I’m not sure my body agrees! 😂 And I absolutely cannot forget my red-headed Spanish sister, Monica, from the shop! ❤️ She was always encouraging me to improve my Spanish and was such a lovely part of our stay. I’m going home determined to come back speaking better Spanish next time! My Brazilian husband was also completely in his element. He loved chatting with the staff and chefs, who always had time for him and made him feel so welcome. That really meant a lot to us. Honestly, every single member of staff we met had a smile on their face. You can tell when a hotel genuinely cares about its guests, and that feeling was everywhere here. I could genuinely go on and on, but I’m trying not to recommend it TOO much… because I need to be able to get a booking next year! 😂 I honestly think we may have found our family holiday home, because I can see us returning year after year. This was our son’s first holiday, and he has had the most incredible experience. Watching him enjoy himself, make connections with the staff, play, swim, eat amazing food and just completely relax has given us memories we will treasure forever. We are absolutely heartbroken to be leaving tomorrow. Viva Blue has made us feel unbelievably special, and we have felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you to every single member of the Viva Blue team for making our 10 nights so incredible. The rooms, the pools, the entertainment, the cleanliness, the activities, the staff… everything has been exceptional. But for me, the food still wins! 😂❤️ Thank you, Viva Blue, for giving us the best holiday we have ever had. This Hotel is a little piece of heaven on earth. It’s absolutely stunning and very close to the beautiful playa Del Muro. It’s very clean (special thanks to the lady that cleans it while singing), the food is outstanding (special thanks to Chef Balla and the head chef) and the staff makes it really a special place to be. Would like to leave a very special thank you to Kammil from Reception, Monica on the market, Nicolas (lifeguard), Miguel, Gabriel, Lopes and Ousmane (restaurant), Davi (the guy from Belgium) and Hassan (entertainment) for making this holiday a memory for life. We will be definitely coming back and indicating it to our friends. As I work with hospitality, the managers of the hotel should know they have very good people working with them. Loved it every minute
