Viva Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa

We had a wonderful stay at Viva Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa and were very satisfied with our accommodation, the beautiful surroundings, the hotel and the food. Everything in the restaurant was always clean, fresh and readily available. Our room was also cleaned regularly and to a good standard. We really appreciated the easy access to the beautiful, clean beach. It was also great that sun loungers were not reserved, and there were plenty available throughout the day. The only minor downside was the noise from the ventilation system of the sports bar, which could be heard during the night. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would happily return. 5/5!

Pools are very good, something for all ages, beautiful garden surroundig the hotel, very friendly staff always present, fantastisk beach nearby. Wonderful show with flamenco and "bubble man".

My friend & I were originally staying at the Viva Eden Lago in Alcudia but upon arrival were slightly disappointed with the view from our balcony. We arrived early hours of the morning but the very next day asked if we could swap rooms. Ladies on reception were ever so helpful but explained there were no other rooms available. They did however offer to transfer us to this hotel free of charge. Bigger room with a better view. They arranged for a taxi to take us there (45 mins away) upon arrival it was explained that had upgraded us to one of their Royal suites based in the selection club area. The lovely Renata checked us in. She was so attentive & catered to our every need. The what’s app service was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. When we opened the door to our suite we were so overwhelmed. It was huge & had stunning views overlooking the sea from both our balcony & terrace. We couldn’t believe our luck. It was out of this world. The pool area was beautiful. We spent most of our days on a cabana overlooking the gorgeous turquoise sea. So relaxing. You can even order drinks to your sunbed (a firm favourite was the mojito) The restaurant la terraza was amazing also with the delicious food. We ate here for breakfast & lunch every day. We also had an à la carte meal here one evening to. Again the staff were so attentive. Jenny was excellent. Very chatty and most days she would give us a suggestion of what to have, she got it spot on. Just sad we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye on our last day. We ate the other evenings in the main buffet restaurant. Food was varied and lots to choose from. Evening entertainment was good too. We would like to thank you for all the amazing memories that we made whilst staying here, ones that will last a lifetime. My friend & I hadn’t seen each other for 3 years due to distance and family commitments. We will always look back on this trip with fond memories. Thank you for your kind generosity in swapping us to this amazing hotel. We will be forever grateful & will definitely return at some point in the future. Thank you once again.

Overall, we had a very good experience as a young family at Viva Cala Mesquida.Our trip started with a rocky check-in. The first room we were given was inadequate—it had a severely leaking sink, a broken shower grill, and a portable dehumidifier running (likely to curb moisture and mold). The rooms in general could definitely do with an update. However, the management quickly sorted the issue and changed our room, even moving our bags for us, which turned it into a positive outcome. Once settled, we were blown away by the hotel. The communal areas—like reception, the restaurants, and the outdoor grounds—are amazing and maintained to an incredibly high standard. You see teams out every single morning sweeping and mopping. Every single bar and restaurant staff member we encountered was polite, friendly, and constantly interacted with our children. A special thanks to Juan (Caprice), Antonio (El Patio), and Elena (Kids Club)—they are a true credit to the hotel!The kids' club and entertainment are amazing. There is so much on that no one is ever left with nothing to do. Another massive bonus for young families is the poolside sunbeds/cabanas. They are incredibly comfortable and perfect if your little ones need a daytime nap and we managed to get one every single day with no sun beds allowed to be reserved for more than 40 mins unattended. We have never stayed anywhere else where these high-quality beds are completely free for anyone to use without booking! Tips for Future Guests: Pack water shoes: Bring slip-resistant shoes for the kids' splash park. The floor tiles get incredibly slippery when wet and we saw so many children slip over. Don't skip the Mirablau: We read reviews saying it wasn't worth a visit, but we had a lovely experience. The food there was the best we ate all week, featuring excellent fish dishes and great service. Pool temperatures: The outdoor pools were much colder than expected and too chilly for our baby (apparently due to new regulations in Mallorca). If you hit a cooler day, the indoor pool is fantastic and well worth a visit instead. Highly recommended for anyone travelling with young kids!

Very excellent hotel and resort. Verry Good Food. But maybe put a little bit warm temperature water for the baby swimming pool. Thank youuuu
