Viva Cala Mesquida Suites & Spa Adults Only

I wanted a hotel to relax and viva cala mesquida resort and spa was perfect, immaculately clean, great choice of food, garden view suite had everything you could want and more. The staff are a credit to the hotel and made my stay just what I needed, I also had 3 fantastic treatments at the spa during my 4 night stay.

The suites were a good size, well kitted out and clean. The domestic staff were very particular. There was entertainment every evening which was very good overall and the noise level was at an acceptable level. The staff in general were excellent.There was not a great deal to do locally, there were however, very good walks for the experienced walkers or the novices. The food was generally okay, sometimes tepid to cool for the hot food. If made at the time [omelettes, meats and fish] they were a good temperature. There were plenty of choices, perhaps too many. The food appeared to be made in bulk on the day but there never appeared to be enough guests to eat it all. It is a decent walk to the beach, but if you were in the prestige suites there was a "beach club" for your use at the beach which offered drinks and snacks. If you were there for a week you were allowed 1 meal in the Italian restaurant or the grille. Both were very good. The worst thing [it's not the hotels fault] is the coach drive from the airport. Flight 2.5 hours bus journey [on that day] 3.2 hours. If you don't want that journey time, then there's a taxi which takes 1 hour 10 minutes, but it's 100 euros each way, ouch

This hotel is in a quiet region of the island but the quality of the hotel and staff is amazing. Although all the staff were excellent and friendly and attentive I would like to thank Jose, Carlos and the lady at the evening restaurant who always found us a table for 3 on the balcony.

Relaxing stay, nice hotel, good food, friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful luxury treat. We spent just over a week sitting by the pool with the odd swim and great too, drink and service.
