We’ve just come back from an incredible eight-night stay at Viva Eden Lago, and we honestly enjoyed every single second of it! ☀️ The hotel was lovely, the staff were amazing, and the pools and entertainment were fantastic. We’re a family of four with an eight-year-old and a four-year-old, and it really was the perfect family holiday for us. Our eight-year-old absolutely loved it. He made so many lovely friends with some really wonderful families and children, and spent so much of his time playing football and jumping in the pool. He particularly loved the football at the hotel, which was a huge hit! Our four-year-old had a brilliant time too. He loved the kids’ club activities and, of course, the swimming pool! We spent lots of time around the big pool with the bouncy pillow that sprays out water, which all the children absolutely loved. It was such a lovely group of kids — they all just played together so well. Our little boy’s water confidence grew so, so much while we were there, which was really lovely to see. The location of the hotel is insane — you’re such a short walk from shops, restaurants and the beach. We had a few beautiful meals out, including one at The Black Pig, which was particularly lovely. We also did a boat trip around the north of the island, which was fantastic. It was around two hours, with the chance to jump in and have a swim in the sea, and the kids absolutely loved it. If you do the trip, definitely take snorkels — we saw some really lovely fish! A huge special shout-out has to go to the animation team, who were incredible. Lisa, Andrea and David were all absolutely wonderful. David did lots of the sports activities with our older boy, while Lisa and Andrea spent time with our younger one. They genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel special. They made us feel like we were their only guests and couldn’t have done more to make our children feel happy, included and entertained. They were honestly brilliant. The bar staff were all fantastic too — in fact, everyone at the hotel was so friendly and lovely. A particular shout-out to Joanna at the bar near the pool bar, who was absolutely wonderful. The food was nice, as you’d expect from an all-inclusive. There was a different variation every night and we could always find something we liked. But for us, it was the hotel itself, the atmosphere and the amazing staff that really made the holiday. Our room was great and, overall, we had such a lovely family holiday. One little tip for anyone staying here: there’s a stand near the big pool, by the bouncy pillow and pool bar, where people leave water toys and inflatables for other guests to reuse. Definitely have a look when you first arrive! We only discovered it later and, if we’d checked it at the beginning, we definitely wouldn’t have bought as many inflatables ourselves. We left quite a lot behind for the next families to enjoy, so it could genuinely save you a fortune! We’d also read that mosquitoes could be a big problem, but we honestly didn’t find them an issue. We’re a family of four and I was the only one who got bitten — and that was only when I ran out of my mosquito DEET spray! So as long as you’re covered up and using repellent, you should be absolutely fine. All in all, we had the most wonderful family holiday. The sun was shining, the children had the best time, we met some lovely people and the hotel made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much to everyone at Viva Eden Lago for making our holiday so special. We would absolutely love to come back! ❤️☀️
Hotel was very clean staff really good especially with my daughter who is autistic with learning and behaviour difficulties. There wasn’t much around the hotel which suited us but you could get taxi or bus wherever. The room was cleaned every day and entertainment on every night. Overall I would recommend this hotel especially for families
We had a great stay at Viva Eden Lago. Everything went very well, and the staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. The children’s entertainment programme is very diverse, with a great team who are very attentive to the kids. The evening shows are also varied and entertaining, and we really appreciated that they finish around 10–11 pm, allowing guests to rest afterwards. The main area for improvement would be the size of the swimming pools, which could be larger. Two small suggestions: wristbands for drivers would be more practical on the left arm, as the right arm makes it difficult to open the garage gate, and background music around the pool area would create an even nicer atmosphere. Overall, a great family hotel that we would definitely recommend.
I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel and would gladly recommend it! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the location is ideal for a relaxing holiday. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail and the care shown towards guests. Everything was excellent, from the accommodation to the services. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay!
Very good for families. Has two pools. One for adults and another one for kids. It's very close to the beach.
