Viva Sunrise

We’re keeping this review short on purpose. We’ve been loyal guests for a while, and since the new management team took over, it doesn’t feel like feedback from returning customers is being heard. So there’s little point in writing a long one. The short version: the hotel is tired and worn, and it feels like it has been optimised for profit a bit too hard, with corners cut where guests notice. That’s a shame, because the foundation is good. We were also told pets weren’t allowed at Viva Sunrise. Apparently that rule doesn’t apply to the long-tailed silverfish, who seemed very much at home in our room. To be fair, they were quiet, didn’t need walking, and kept to themselves, but we hadn’t planned on sharing. Will we come back? Probably. The location is genuinely excellent, and that still counts for a lot. But we’d love to see some of the profit go back into the hotel and its guests, ideally starting with an eviction notice for the silverfish.

On arrival we were met by friendly and helpful staff. We had left some luggage on our coach here and the reception helped us locate this. Our rooms are spacious and clean and cleaned regularly. Food has been absolutely amazing, something for everyone. The location is ideal. I cannot fault this hotel. Well done viva sunrise

We had a great holiday. We chose the hotel for the activities for our 8yr boy & 6 yr girl. The entertainment team were great. Our kids had a great time. We got to relax. We enjoyed the food, I’m gluten free, husband dairy free & we enjoyed our half board option.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Food was very good, staff was really friendly. Only bad side is that there was little to much people at the same time (out of season)

The hotel was good but I was clearly made for children. The hotel has everything you need for a good holiday, but be ready for a lot of children and the things that come with that.
