Zafiro Alzinar Mar

We have just had a week stay at Zafiro Alzinar Mar and it was fantastic. Perfect for a relaxing holiday which was what we were looking for. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with a pool view. As well as other communal areas. The pool area was fantastic, always fresh towels for you to pick up in the morning, lots of sun beds and again kept clean. We particularly enjoyed the food, buffet breakfast and tea but our favourite was the A La Carte lunch where there was lots of options and something different to buffet. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Huge shout out to Noa and Tomás around the pool and swim up bar. Thank you for making our holiday special and we hope to visit again soon.

Can’t praise this hotel enough. We arrived very late at night but were greeted with a smile and a glass of cava. Our room was exactly as shown in the booking - we opted for a Junior suite with plunge pool. Breakfast was leisurely with lots of options. Having dinner in the same buffet restaurant was also a treat as drinks were served at your table but you were free to choose from a delicious range of dishes. My favourite meal was lunch at the à la carte Sage and Olive restaurant by the pool - have the calamari!! All the staff were delightful with a special mention to Arturo, Noa and Rajmond who went above and beyond to make our stay lots of fun!

A VERY GOOD STAY! I am very pleased with the hotel. The location is great- with only a few minutes walk to the beach front and restaurants. The room was beautiful and clean. The pool was lovely and always had sun beds available all times of day. We didn't eat at the restaurant at dinner time but lunch was amazing (recommend the katsu wok and oreo tart 👀🥰). We ventured out at night for dinner and drinks- loads of amazing restaurants and bars to choose from. Some of our favourites: El Gaucho Blue Marine Nedusa Beach Club 100% would recommend for a chill holiday 🫶🏻

Me and the Mrs had a brilliant week here we have just got back the hotel is clean rooms are done up nice Raymond who does the entertainment does a brilliant job As does Noa on the pool bar I would say she could do with some help on there as if it wasn't for the life guard at the top it is hard for her to know people are up there but she does a brilliant job Artoro and Hernando 2 of the waiters are brilliant they have built massive rapports with guests all week and nothing was too much trouble for them The only snags we had was the decking could do with a lot of work there were a couple of incidents where people nearly stood on nails they were sorted by maintenance in a timely manner Plus the restaurant at night could be opened a little longer and advertised that it shut at 21:00 a little better there is a sign in the main reception which isn't noticeable and we was not told when checking in and we sometimes like a later tea so when we went in at 20:45 we were rushed through everything so they could close Also could do with some better seating on the nighttime area and more of it as a lot of guests who wanted to watch the entertainment or take part in the quizzes couldn't cause they couldn't get a seat These weren't a massive issue it didn't spoil anything for us it's just a bit of feedback The food was brilliant especially in the lunchtime bar down the bottom All in all it's a class place to come too just need a little work on certain parts but I wouldn't let it spoil anything

Unfortunately, the customer service was the biggest disappointment of my stay. As a Black guest, I felt ignored and as though I had to repeatedly ask for support and attention, while I observed other guests being treated noticeably differently. I want to be clear that I’m not making this comment lightly. Nobody should have to question whether they are being treated differently because of the colour of their skin, especially when they are paying to enjoy the same experience as everyone else. This was the only major negative of my experience, because aside from this, I would have genuinely rated my stay 10/10. It’s 2026, and I find it extremely disappointing that this kind of experience can still happen, particularly in a popular international destination like Spain that welcomes visitors from all over the world. I strongly believe staff should receive better training and education around equality, cultural awareness and treating every guest with the same level of respect and attention, regardless of their race or background. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Every customer deserves to feel welcomed, respected and valued — not made to feel like an afterthought because of the colour of their skin.
