Cinnamon Bey Beruwala

We had an amazing time at Cinnamon Bey. The food and stay were excellent and the staff were extremely hospitable and accommodating. Madhuni and her team made our trip very special and we will definitely be visiting again.

Our first visit to SL and this property did not disappoint. There were some initial hiccups during check-in when our room had damp curtains but this was resolved immediately and we had a more than pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous! Local, Asian, Continental, they had everything on offer. The service was great and so was the food. The pool is decent and the walk to the beach is comfortable. They don't have a private beach but it is not crowded. You can get introduced to local boatmen and tuk-tuk drivers here and they will take you around wherever you need to go!

I will leave a review of our whole experience separately but our two dinners at Noodles were exceptional. The food at the hotel is generally really, really good but we had exquisite food and superb service at Noodles. Thanks to Sadunika, Tharuka and Dulmini for your attention amd culinary skills.

The standout feature of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible service provided by the staff across the resort. Our dining experiences were fantastic. At the main restaurant, Bufe, the service was seamless and highly professional, led excellently by the restaurant manager, Dinesh, who ensures everything runs perfectly. We also spent a wonderful lunch at Noodle, where the food was delicious and the hospitality was top-notch. A special thanks goes to the restaurant staff—Sulara, Tharuka, and Dulmini—who were all incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming throughout our meal. The excellent care extended beyond the dining venues. Our room service was prompt and flawless, thanks to Nishantha, who keep our room well cleaned and looked after our requests with great care and efficiency. From the delicious dining options to the dedicated team members who went above and beyond, Cinnamon Bey Beruwala provided a memorable getaway. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for great service in a beautiful coastal setting!

Cinnamon Bay Beruwala is hands‑down one of the best family getaways in Sri Lanka, just under 2 hours from Colombo and right on a gorgeous stretch of beach. The vibe, the service, the views… all spot on. The buffet is massive with proper Sri Lankan flavours and many more options and loved every minute. We even scored some sweet upgrades that made the stay feel extra special. Big shoutout to Danushka for looking after every personalised request, Dinesh for keeping the restaurant and bar experience smooth, and Joshua for making check‑in, check‑out, and last‑minute bookings & upgrades effortless.
