Cinnamon Bey Beruwala

We have been here since the 12th October, hotel very clean, our room is kept to a great standard by Sumith. Beach location with a reef which makes it easy to swim in. Beautiful pool overlooking the sea which is so tranquil even when there are others in it as it so big. We are all inclusive and can use the al la carte as often as we want, would definitely recommend the Noodles Restaurant. There is refurbishing work going on but they do try for it not to spoil your stay. The Bufe (buffet) can be a bit hit and miss especially in the week when they move it out of the designated area, food can be luke warm and I think the freezer sometimes hasn't been plugged in and the ice cream melts. They offer table service for tea and coffee in the morning, however you can be waiting quite a while for a cup and then for someone to come with tea and coffee. It's better on the weekends as it is busy so there is a station you can help yourself to tea and coffee.Overall I would recommend this hotel, I like it is quiet and you can chill and relax. They do have a singer/singers during dinner which is nice and one evening there were traditional dancers. Managers/ supervisors are helpful and friendly always checking if everything is good, I have found Chritine does over and above and provides a lot of support to staff. Overall I noticed stall are praised which I like to see that their efforts are recognised even with a hand shake.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Beruwela Bey. The relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and warm hospitality made our visit truly memorable. A very special thanks to Mr. Dinesh and Ms. Sathmi, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well cared for. They were extremely attentive, regularly checked on us, and ensured all our needs were met. What touched us most was their genuine concern when my wife experienced allergic rhinitis. They continuously checked on her well-being and made sure she was feeling better, which meant so much to us. Their kindness and professionalism truly reflect the excellent standards of Cinnamon’s staff training and hospitality. We would genuinely love to revisit, especially to meet Mr. Dinesh and Ms. Sathmi again! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special and giving us beautiful memories to cherish.

We had a fantastic experience at Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. The room was superb, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, everything made our stay truly memorable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. A special mention to Thathsarani, Yasiru, and Nishantha, who assisted us during the dinner buffet. Their friendly service, attentiveness, and warm hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They took great care of us and made us feel welcome throughout dinner.

The hotel is old and tired and would benefit from a significant update. The hotel was undertaking some renovation work while we were there to the dining room which made meal timed chaotic and noisy. During our stay the electricity tripped out 5 times. Limited choice of foods that were not hot and spicy. Weekend events for locals and weddings made the hotel noisy with loud music and parked cars obstructing the view of the sea. Staff seemed rushed of their feet. There were a couple of waiters who were great and one chap providing drinks by the pool who was excellent, as we're the pool guys.
