Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon

An excellent stay with superb amenities. We celebrated our 7th anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with their thoughtful gestures and kind words. We hope to return as soon as possible. Hats off to all the staff and the wonderful community that surrounded us. Cheers.

We had a fantastic stay at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon and would happily return. The views are simply breathtaking, and the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the à la carte lunches were particularly impressive. Every meal was something to look forward to. What really made our stay special was the staff. Without exception, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a genuine smile. The restaurant staff were wonderful and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and kept impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable and towels were changed daily whenever needed. Although the room is starting to show some signs of age, with a few scuff marks and general wear and tear, this did not impact our enjoyment of the stay. The pool area was immaculate, with attentive staff, plenty of towels available, and a fantastic pool bar. We especially appreciated that the pool was open from 8am to 10pm and never felt overcrowded. A wonderful holiday in a beautiful setting, made even better by the exceptional staff. A special thank you to Ranuka for helping me with my Sinhalese. The noisest hotel we have ever stayed in, so much so we left 5 days early due to lack of sleep. We are a Lonfon couple. Blessed to have travelled the world and more blessed to be able to holiday 4-5 times a year. We've stayed in 2 star accommodation. Random beach huts and outstanding cruise ships, we have never left an accommodation due to poor sleep quality, until now! The air-conditioning unit and dehumidifier were so so loud. If we turned them off everything was damp and smelly. If that wasn't bad enough, there are 100s and 100s of crows. It was like being in an Alfred Hitchcock film. The noise was deafening at sun rise and sun set. In addition to this the open court yard area on your balcony echos noise from all balconies in your area. Screaming loud people till the early hours.(3am-4am) My husbands 60th birthday ruined . I can't believe noone reviews this! Do not trust the 1 contribution reviews!! Russians- that's all i am saying! Staff were mostly fantastic and the food was good but lacked choice as did the drinks menu as an all inclusive guest. You can take your own decent branded alcohol from duty free and pay £20 to drink it with mixers and snacks at the hotel, noone tells you this either The whole hotel is immaculate but run down I read today BA have restarted their direct flights to Colombo airport, I would suggest the Cinnomon chain choose their audience wisely. This could be a fantastic hotel. However its currently 3 star max Extremely disappointed

Had a really nice time with my family, Rooms were really clean. I liked the fact that the pool was open till 10 PM. Beach was also really nice. We loved the place

Highly recommend staying at this property. great service, great location great staff and a lovely village,
