23 nights at Anantara Riverside and will be back. The team made the difference. Sandy, Milktea, Mint and Wannasa in particular. We stayed 23 nights, checking out on 16 October. The property is beautiful. The people are what we will remember. Sandy at the front desk went far beyond her role. Early in our stay, our family became seriously ill. My daughter and I ended up in hospital. My wife was sick too. We had a baby with us. Sandy stepped in and looked after him so my wife could settle in and shower after check-in. She did it without being asked and without fuss. That kind of care is rare. I have stayed in many hotels. Few staff would have done what she did. The breakfast market team made every morning count. Milktea, Mint and Wannasa remembered us. They knew what we liked. They knew what our children liked and often had it ready before we sat down. Our toddler looked forward to seeing them each day. After the stress of being sick, that consistency meant a great deal. Anantara is fortunate to have Sandy, Milktea, Mint and Wannasa. They deserve recognition and reward. We will return, and we will ask for them by name.

A Wonderful Stay – Will Definitely Return! This was my second visit to Anantara, following my stay last year, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. The 3-meter-deep swimming pool, complimentary boat service to ICONSIAM, and beautiful, spacious gardens made this hotel a perfect place to relax and recharge in the heart of Bangkok. Every corner of the property is thoughtfully designed, with charming decorative details that create a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. What impressed me most was the exceptional service. From check-in to swimming pool visits and breakfast, the staff were consistently attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Every little detail was taken care of, making me feel truly welcomed and well looked after throughout my stay. The combination of beautiful surroundings, relaxing facilities, and outstanding hospitality makes Anantara a special place to return to. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely choose Anantara again on my next visit to Bangkok. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat with genuinely warm and attentive service!

We were impressed by the warm greeting and reception upon arrival at Anantara Riverside resort. Unfortunately we had faulty bathroom fan ventilation for all of the rooms we stayed in (Junior Suite - did not work, Deluxe Room - did not work, and Riverside Suite - very weak). However, supervisors and managers worked quickly and efficiently to resolve our concerns by switching us to different rooms and providing luggage transfer between these rooms. They were sincerely apologetic and provided us with a massage for the family. The only other concern was the soft pillows and loud party boats that went by at night time disrupting our sleep (which we know the hotel cannot control the outside noise conditions). Overall, our family still enjoyed the pleasant, peaceful, and friendly atmosphere provided by Anantara. Thank you!

The biggest disappointment during our stay was the shower door, which leaked water onto the bathroom floor despite being properly closed. The leak was bad enough to flood a small area and leave the floor towel completely soaked. We contacted guest services, and someone was sent to provide additional towels to absorb the water. However, rather than properly cleaning up the mess with a mop, they simply placed dry towels on the wet floor. Shortly afterward, a maintenance worker arrived to inspect the shower and make some adjustments to the seal before leaving. Unfortunately, the problem was not resolved. The next morning, after taking shower, I stepped straight into a puddle of water caused by the same leak. By this point, I was extremely frustrated. I immediately called guest services and requested a different room, as the situation had become ridiculous, especially since I needed to get ready for a dinner cruise that evening with my girlfriend. Instead of arranging a room change, they apologized and said they would send someone to look into the issue again. When my girlfriend and I returned from the cruise, we found an apology letter and a plate of mangoes on the table. While the gesture may have been intended to make up for the inconvenience, it did nothing to address the actual problem. After taking another shower, we discovered that the leak was still there. Fed up with the repeated inconvenience, we went directly to the front desk to complain. I made it clear that an apology letter and a couple of mangoes were not going to fix a leaking shower door. What would have made a real difference was simply providing us with a different room when we first reported the issue. I expressed my dissatisfaction directly to the staff, and only then did they finally agree to move us to another room. For a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star property, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. The issue itself was frustrating enough, but the repeated failure to resolve it properly and the unnecessary delay in offering us another room made the experience even worse. My girlfriend and I expected service that matched the hotel's claimed standards, but instead, we received what felt like a 1-star experience. A genuine apology is appreciated, but taking prompt and effective action to resolve a guest's problem is far more important.
