Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort

This hotel is beautiful and clean. The pool is very nice, as well as the fitness center. While staff are friendly, there were a few things that made our stay just okay. We splurged to stay here and have a relaxing few days in Bangkok. When we checked in, we confirmed that we wanted a king sized bed, and they also told us where and the timings for breakfast. However, we found that we had twin beds instead. After many phone calls, they wouldn’t move our room and insisted on placing a mattress cover over the 2 beds to make it one. We stated that we didn’t want this and to leave it as is, but they did it anyway when we were out of the room. We weren’t offered anything for this inconvenience. When we showed up to breakfast, we were told that it wasn’t included. Usually, when breakfast isn’t included, they tell you this at check-in and also state how much it would be to add it. Finally, there are people who work at the hotel and constantly try to get you to join a talk from 10:00-11:30 about the hotel. After which, you can get some credit and a limo ride to the airport. Even after stating we didn’t want to give up time to attend, people would literally chase after us trying to talk us into it. I’ve stayed in Bangkok numerous times. There are nicer (and cheaper!) places to stay that don’t have this many inconveniences.

Great facility, nice vies and super friendly and helpful staff. Considering the price I paid, this is way more valuable hotel you must visit in Bangkok

Our family is having the best time on our first trip to Thailand! Staying at Anantara was the right choice. Our kids love the Kids’ Club that offer a range of fun activities, including arts and crafts. This gives the parents some much-needed time off to enjoy together. What makes it really special is how warmly the staff care for the children. Our kids absolutely adore Jasmin and Vina! Thank you for making our time in Thailand most memorable 🙏

This resort has such a great bunch of people working here, all so friendly, cheerful and professional. Quiet location and good atmosphere. A very relaxing vacation with the kids.

Anantara Riverside Bangkok truly feels like a tropical resort without ever leaving Bangkok. What impressed me most was how much Thai culture is woven throughout the entire experience. From the traditional architecture and beautiful Thai artwork to the elephant sculptures scattered throughout the property and the staff dressed in Thai-inspired attire, there is a strong sense of place everywhere you look. The Thai cultural show and buffet were a highlight and made the stay feel like more than just another hotel experience. Add in the lush tropical grounds, beautiful Chao Phraya River setting, resort-style pool, complimentary shuttle boats, and variety of restaurants, and you could easily spend a couple of days here without wanting to leave the property. It’s a peaceful escape from the energy of Bangkok while still allowing you to experience the culture and character of Thailand.
