We like the location of the hotel since its very near to most shopping malls. Love the cleanliness of our room. And the staff is very accommodating. Mr. K is very helpful with our luggage as well during checkout.

We are avid travellers after retiring from my medical practice and my husband an engineer running an automotive industry. The rooms and suites are small, dull and old fashioned but the lobby and dining area is nice and bright which seems are renovated recently. At breakfast the Thai section didn’t have any vegetarian options, so on our request the assistant manager Prang, chef Pond and chef Subendhu made some nice dishes, which we really appreciate. But still we didn’t have a good experience at Hotel Centara at Central world this time. Hotel chains like Taj, Jumeira, Mandarin Oriental, they have beautiful properties and make you feel like royalties. Never say no for anything. And their attitude just adds so much to your holiday. But Hotel Centara at the Central world Bangkok is just the opposite. I was simmering for two days because of front desk manager at club lounge Ms. Reysen’s rude behaviour, showing a lack of respect for guests by shouting at them and making them feel small. So put off that not coming back to this hotel again.

I arrived very late at night on 26th May. My room booking was from 25th May for 5 nights. From the first night, the room telephone was not working and the safe box could not be locked. I informed the hotel staff the next morning, but it took far too long for these issues to be fixed. Tonight, once again, the room phone is not working. After a long and tiring day of meetings, I was in the middle of placing a room service order when the phone stopped working. I had to change clothes and go downstairs personally just to order food. This level of service is extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standards of a five-star hotel. It also seems there was no proper communication or important information provided upon arrival. I am very disappointed with the overall experience and expect this matter to be addressed seriously.
