Writing ⭐ **Extremely Disappointing Experience at Mytt Hotel Pattaya, Thailand – Poor Service and Misleading Breakfast Promises** My stay at **Mytt Hotel Pattaya, Thailand, was extremely disappointing**, especially because I was travelling with my infant. The hotel’s service, hospitality, and lack of basic consideration were far below expectations. First, there were no proper drinking water facilities, which was very inconvenient. During breakfast, my baby was sleeping in the room, so I politely asked if I could take a coffee to my room from the breakfast area. The staff refused, saying it was against hotel policy. I understand that hotels have rules, but a little flexibility and understanding for guests travelling with infants would have been appreciated. The experience became even worse on the day of checkout. After checking out, my baby suddenly started crying, and I requested just 10 extra minutes in the room to settle the baby. The hotel refused even this small request, showing a disappointing lack of empathy toward a family travelling with an infant. **The biggest disappointment was the breakfast.** The hotel’s listings on various websites advertised Indian breakfast options, and I had actually paid for breakfast expecting those facilities. However, not even a single Indian breakfast item was available during my stay. It is extremely frustrating to pay for a service based on what is advertised and then find that the promised options are not provided. Overall, the hotel failed to meet basic expectations regarding hospitality, guest comfort, and the services advertised. Travelling with an infant is already challenging, and the hotel staff made the experience unnecessarily stressful instead of showing even a little understanding. **I would not recommend Mytt Hotel Pattaya, especially to Indian families travelling with infants.** The hotel seriously needs to improve its customer service, be more considerate toward families with babies, and ensure that the facilities advertised on booking websites are actually provided to paying guests. Very disappointing experience. I would not choose this hotel again.

Not sure how this place gets these high ratings. Not even close to a 5 star hotel. A gym that each time you go to has zero of the AC on. Need to presd buttons everywhere to try and get some air in the room. Then secondly getting told it closes at 8. Who in their right minds has a gym at a "5 star" property that only opens at 8 and closes at 8? Then with check in feeling like its an interrogation. Telling guests if anyone other then themselves enters the property you will be charged 1000 baht. Why assume that everyone booking in here wants to bring people in? Other than being a very basic hotel with decent rooms, this is absolutely NOT a 5 star property or experience. If you book and pay a premium to have services available what is the use in doing that if its available at stupid hours. Not impressed at all

Disappointed, I stayed at this hotel in February and on the whole I was reasonably happy, location, cleanliness. My experience when I stayed there again in June was completely the opposite the reception staff for some reason thought they were superior than me 😳. For starters there was no recognition of a repeat customer, after travelling nearly 24 hours my room was ready, however I could not go to my room either I paid early booking fee of 4200 baht or I could wait one hour and get My already made up a room and not incur the fee. This exploitation of weary repeat customers is unacceptable and the reception staff gave the impression that it was normal practice to engineer financial gain from western wealthy customers. it did not go down well with me as I was extremely tired. As an experience, Traveler most five star hotels either offer you a Welcome drink or a refreshing towel especially as the temperatures exceeded 35°. The reception staff did neither. They were more interested in extracting 4000 Thaii out of me.. the following day, the same reception staff member, wanted to enforce a 1000 baht fine for a friend to visit me at the hotel, I thought this was outrageous and it was a desperate approach for revenge because I refuse to pay the early check-in fee the day before beforehand. In fact, they threatened me and said they would call the police and have me in jail if I did not pay them the money. I wasn’t prepared to accept that sort of service and checked out immediately.

Honestly, the hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are spotless, the staff is super helpful, and all the facilities are top-notch. Everything was perfect until night came. The hotel is right next to a nightclub, and the bass was so loud it literally vibrated through the room. We barely got any sleep because of it. No matter how good the service or the rooms are, you still need to be able to sleep at night, and that was just impossible here. If you're planning to stay out partying late anyway or noise doesn't bother you, this place is amazing. But if you actually want a good night's rest, you might want to look somewhere else or make sure you ask for a room on the far side of the building.
