The Landmark Bangkok

Another stay at the Landmark Bangkok, the longest yet staying for 2 weeks in September 2026. Feels like a home away from home and another lovely stay this time in our base in Thailand. Please check our other recent reviews, last in January. We arrived a day late due to UK ATC failures so was tired but happy to arrive. It was a late arrival for our premium club room, so we got checked in at the grand and impressive main lobby. Reception staff and bell boys were friendly and helpful getting us up to our room quickly. The room was well equipped, spotlessly clean and perfect for our stay, a room with a shower and bath making a long visit easy to manage. The TV was the only issue, did not work towards the latter part of our visit (but not heavily used in any case). A mini fridge, extensive mini bar, safe, coffee making facilities and great air con/wifi completes the excellent standard of facilities. The Lounge was on par with previous visits, great selection of food and drinks. The staff here on this trip were simply amazing, a big improvement on last time, so professional, providing a consistent and excellent service. A special mention goes to Nita, a true asset joining this hotel since our last visit, and Honey for looking after us so well. The manager Mr Zimmerman popped in a couple of times, he didn’t remember us (out of thousands of guests so understandable :)) but it was good to know he was seeing the lounge service quality first hand. Efficiency was bolstered by Rib Room staff taking care of guests at peak periods, we were never without a drink! A return to the Rib Room, top floor steak restaurant just had to be done again, after a great birthday meal in January. Did not disappoint, perfect service, food and drinks with a great view. We also visited the hotel Spa for a couples massage as we do on every visit. The service and quality professionally maintained. The pool area is still a great place to relax. Again, the staff here are attentive and helpful. I noted that more pool chairs, umbrellas and tables have now been put out to utilise the extra space, I am sure that this will greatly benefit high season that was lacking here in January. The hot tub was cold on this visit, certainly no longer the hot tub as advertised and not as hot as previous visits. I would recommend the hot tub temperature is increased and the pool temperature made warmer. This will make the pool area more appealing to tourists and families in particular. The drinks service here was great and food choice vast with availability from all hotel restaurants at reasonable prices. We visited the Quad, a newish area of the hotel, with different eating and drinking outlets. The staff here were perfect and the sandwiches and ice cream tasty from the bakery. I noticed it was receiving more customers on this visit which is good to see. We also visited the lobby bar Rendezvous. Nice cocktails and the same great Landmark staff. We feel just underused, so a live music/musician such as a pianist here may improve the visitor numbers as it is sure worth a visit and may entice customers passing by in the lobby towards or from the lifts. Perfectly located and the hotel feels safe, the security guards outside of the hotel lobby, always smiling, saluting! and ensuring that the guests and vehicles all pass through safely and efficiently. Particularly noticeable on this visit. Laundry service quick and excellent. Room service also excellent. Housekeeping excellent. A great hotel in a great location. We will be back again. I have dined at two of the many restaurants at The Landmark Hotel; Sui Sian Restaurant and the Atrium for a few years. Both are simply outstanding. The cuisine is excellent, at both restaurants. The service is at a level above 5 Star. The food is always well prepared and presented remarkably well. Highly recommend for business and social gatherings.

Only the one night stay here but from my experience, room was high up and comfortable, staff all very helpful with my enquiry’s and smooth check-in/check-out process. Pool area is nice and quiet and smart/tidy. You may have to rely on taxi services to get around but in terms of a base in Bangkok, I would recommend the Landmark as an option.

This classic hotel completed the renovation works and looks beautiful with a new space liby reception area and new structure for the Redtarant and lobby bar and cafe . The rooms are very well fitted with very comfortable king bed , bathroom and amenities . The service is superb and the staff are all excellent and helpful on every level . I recommend to stay in a club floor and enjoy the excellent club Launge on the 31 floor . I must mention the best fitness club and gym in the hotel which allows entrance to hotel guests . It is one of bkk best fitness clubs . They also havd nice roof swimming pool and excellent gourmet dining . I keep coming to this hotel for many years and it is always fresh looking with great helpful staff everywhere .i love the location and its easy accessibility by train anx cars and just walking everywhere . I Fully Recommend this hotel for Business or pleasure in this exciting city ..

I have stayed here a few times and I have to say this time was the worst. I have not even spent a night here yet. Check in was lousy and I mean of the highest level. Wow. I was the only one and it still took 20 mins. Terrible. I arrived at 2330 so you would think they would have most things prepared. I have stayed here 4-5 times and they have my membership on file. Nope. Not good enough. The room has a moldy smell and the temp was super high. All this despite being a titanium member. I will take my business elsewhere where from Now on when in Bangkok.
