Woodlands Hotel Resort

First can I praise Nam from breakfast restaurant so helpful and first class service . That’s where it ends staff rude unhelpful asked about French toast dish at 0900 empty told yes finished all the food was cold or empty dishes no care given saw a large rat run past our room as did other guests reported this to reception answer shall we get a cat !! Room smell from sewers was unbearable at times left room at 0900 returning at 1600 still not cleaned had to chase up reception eventually at 1630 room half cleaned no bins emptied no toilet roll think this place has gone down hill and heading further down also filled with Russian tourists need I say more unable to swim in pool as beds taken at 0800 and left empty all day no one checked the beds so guests put towels on and left for the day shall I return not a chance

3 Star at best. Standard Room is called Superior but is quite compact and basic. As the name suggests, Woodlands has a lot of on-site vegetation, which unfortunately of course also means attracts a great many mosquitos. Bitten sitting by the pool in the day, never mind dusk and dawn which are normally the worst times. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

I loved the pool area with lots of shades and trees. It was really quiet. The location was amazing: 3 minutes walk away from Terminal 21 mall and the beach. There is also a motor rental place right infront of the hotel. On the other hand, the rooms were a bit old comparing to the price given. And more cleaniness needed for room service. Also, you will see lots of reptiles like frogs and lizards at night. But i guess thats what happens when youre in all tree resorts.

Decent hotel. Lovely staff and layout of the resort. Room was cleaned and attended to daily aswell as topped up with bottled water. Very comfortable bed and decent air-conditioning in the much needed heat!. Tip:....keep room doors closed to keep the pesky mosquitoes out! 🦟. Location was ideal as still had bars and restaurants within walking distance whilst maintaining quietness on resort.

I booked through Expedia. I paid top price for Deluxe Room with Breakfast. Same old scam. When I arrived the hotel said breakfast not included and it was an extra 1040 bht. (£22) a day more. The Hotel were not helpful and told me to contact Expedia. Expedia said as I checked in there was nothing they could do. BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING! The hotel breakfast ok but not worth money. You can get 4 breakfasts for that in Thailand. Plus the hotel plays the most terrible repetitive electronic music around the pool. Enough to drive u mad!
