Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa

Apsara is a piece of heaven on Earth. If you like peace tranquility nature and long beach walks wrapped in a warm hug this is the hotel for you. It was our fifth visit to the hotel and I wondered if we would have grown a little tired of it but I needn’t have worried as soon as we set foot over the threshold we were captivated by its charms immediately. The rooms had all been recently refurnished and were very tastefully done. Every member of staff made you feel like an old friend from the gardeners cleaners restaurant staff etc. No wonder they call it the country of smiles. Although all the staff were fantastic some remembered us from previous visits and we felt a special connection with them. They were Tan our room cleaner Bonmp the Ila barman Det Yuda Nathan Kaithin Wi Book Mark and Emee.. We will be back

Can’t fault the staff on the Villas side of the operation, which was much quieter than the main area over the estuary. The à la carte all inclusive offered excellent Thai food. Staff were exceptionally attentive

Beautiful location on the beach with directly access. Room large and comfortable. Great shower. Breakfast-some of the hot buffet food was warm ie scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms. Omelette which was individually made was hot. Not much variety from one day to the next. Fruit selection could have been better with mango and passionfruit and lychee. Sunbeds were dirty and the cushions were even worse, dirty and ripped. We ate twice in the hotel in the evening at the a la carte restaurant, which was lovely but not cheap but Thai standards. Pools were clean. Remote location although paid shuttle bus from hotel to Khao Lak, 3 times going and twice returning.

We had the pleasure of staying at Apsara for the third time, and like always it was a stunning and wonderful experience! Ste staff are extraordinary friendly, skilled and service minded. The rooms are fresh and comfortable. The food is delicious, varied and tasty. The pools are clean and inviting, and the beach like a piece of paradise. Once you have seen the sunset at Apsara you’ll never forget it. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday. We are already looking forward to the next time. We love Apsara.

When we arrived at Apsara our room was not ready. We had booked a swim up room but they offered us a jacuzzi villa which they said was an upgrade. We asked to see both rooms and decided we wanted to keep the swim up room as the villa felt quite remote. I think they had really overbooked some rooms which seems to be an issue with this hotel !! The swim up room was lovely and had been refurbished. The decor and aircon were excellent. We loved the swim up room but it was spoilt be heavy smokers in the room next to us who constantly smoked strong cigarettes so we couldn’t sit out on our balcony very much!!!! The hotel is lovely but a little bit far out for us. The beach was stunning with some fabulous sunsets. All the staff were lovely too. We went bed and breakfast and used Kokkinos restaurant a couple of times. The food was nice but surprisingly it sold Italian food and not Thai which we would have preferred. Apsara is a lovely hotel and the service was excellent overall .
