Centara Karon Resort Phuket

Exellant hotel, nice and quiet with 3 pools to choose from. Pool area was clean and quiet, always sunbeds avaialble at anytime. Staff were very friendly and always made sure we were okay. Hotel is along a small road, but very close to all the bars and restaurants, beach was just a 5 minute walk away also. Rooms were small but ideal for our stay. We got 2 double beds in oour room. Towels were changed daily and room and beds made up daily also. Plenty of extras in the room including free drinking water which was topped up daily.

While the hotel and facilities are fantastic..... Do not under any circumstances leave anything of monerety value in your room unattended. We were saving up our 7/11 stamps under thier current promotion to redeem towards the end of our stay. They were in a neat pile next to my medication bag and had been for 5 days. Change of shift and a new person doing the rooms and they suddenly disappear. Look its only about 100 baht worth of stamps, not going to break the bank!! But theft is theft and the total lack of concern from management was appalling. So yes don't leave anything of value out in the open in your room! And then to be told by management that maybe you knocked them onto the floor by mistake and they were cleaned up!!! Seriously! They were in a neat pile right next to my medication... No We didn't knock them on the floor! We still have 5 days to go on this stay and won't even leave a 1 Baht coin on a table because house keeping can't be trusted.

Returning here, I love everything about this place. Thank you to everyone Centara Karon family for the warm service. Siri, Air, Beer, Sun,Boy, Lek (Spa), at the lobby made us happy for the check-in process . Siri and Air kept smiling even during busy moments—truly commendable. The breakfast received excellent care from TuTa and Zackie. Kids club and pool were highlights; the children they didn't want to go home. Special take care from Nutty ,Kim , Kit and all. I will be here again soon.

This is my second stay at Centara Karon and we had a fabulous time both times. The resort has also now been upgraded. The resort is very clean and has three pools all of which are lovely. The food at the restaurant is nice and the staff so friendly. The area it is situated in is busy and there is a beach very close by. Thank you Centara Karon, We will be back again!
